Lovely garden setting, with lots of tables. We were pleased there was a lunch menu with sandwiches, perfect. The service was fast and the food was tasty.
Under new management, pleasant staff and decor, food good but quite expensive.
Since the new management have taken over its changed from a dreadful dive to a wonderful, civilised place to have a pint and a meal. We had their Sunday lunch and it was excellent - all perfectly cooked and made from good ingredients. We really enjoyed it. Their homebrew craft ale was delicious, if a hint weak, but I'd have it again. The Willow Tree has got itself two new regulars!
Sunday Roast was delicious. Good wine selection and beautiful outdoor area. Looking forward to returning again over the summer as a perfect place to enjoy a beer by the river.
Under new management and wow what a gem of Winchester! Food and service are great and the refurbishment is beautiful.
Relaxed and welcoming, great selection of beers including Tribute from St. Austell Brewery, no. 1 favourite cask ale of all time. Great spot on the sofa to enjoy a drink and chat
Excellent. Really friendly staff, clean, tasty beer. Haven't eaten there yet but everyone I know who have praised it highly. The beer garden will be a delight in warm weather.
Stayed at the premier inn up the road so needed a pub to go to and was not disappointed by The Willow Tree Great outside space and the decor inside including toilets very clean Had a meal on the Saturday which was excellent and well worth booking Staff super friendly and an excellent pub. I’m sure this pub will go from strength to strength.
Under new management this is now a brilliant pub. Sunday roast beef was excellent, good beers and extremely friendly, attentive staff.
Wanted a quick and tasty lunch outside in the sunshine and that exactly what we got. I had Brevet steak and fries which was cooked perfectl. My partner had a BLT. The garden is lovely and by the river. Worth a visit
