Complete transphobia from the bouncer & assistant manger. Even though I had proof of being in there before and bank transfers from buying drinks. The assistant manager has even served me and my friends before & was no problem. They then said that my proof of identity wasn’t valid. But had no proof of this and the assistant manager couldn’t even tell us about this policy. Again, I have been there countless of times and had no problems.
Nice beer / cider selection, they've got 3 beavertowns on tap, definitely a good pub for a pint or two, conveniently located right next to the bus station. Popular place for watching the football. Not tried the pizzas yet but heard they're very good.
Comfy interior. Pleasant sheltered yard seating at the back. Good reasonably priced pub food. Polite service. Gents toilets whiffy though.
First visit. Waitress was very helpful explaining things on the menu. Food was excellent. Will definitely go back.
Ordered some chips to go with our drinks when we asked for some condiments we were told bluntly "nah we don't have any" my partner did get annoyed because since when do places that sell food they don't have atleast salt ?? When we tried to order more drinks they refused to serve us , won't go back their again no wonder they have a bad name about them... staff all looked miserable
A nice classic pub, with well priced food. Also a good place to watch sport, on their large screen TVs.
Great bar, reasonably priced, friendly staff and outside area is superb
Great place in Winchester to watch sports.. Good beer. Dropped a star for the terrible loos..
If you want an Xmas lights experience with no atmosphere, a gents toilet with a soaking wet floor, no toilet paper and no lock on door, then you have hit the spot. Well seems the last guy missed the spot
Lovely cosy pub, food good, great Christmas atmosphere
