This is our favourite London hotel - one we’ve stayed at on 5 occasions over the last 5 years, and are heading back there in a couple of month’s time. It’s tucked away on Richmond Buildings, off Dean Street in Soho, right in the heard of that wonderful, bustling quarter of the West End. The location is excellent as most places of interest theatres, clubs, galleries, major shopping streets are within an easy 15 min walk, but being located on a news street, the hotel is also an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of Soho. Like all the Firmdale Hotels, the decor is relaxed and comforting, and the staff and service consistently first rate. The bar is particularly eye-catching with its colourful mural on the back wall with art deco like motoring scenes - I can happily spend time absorbing all of the details while enjoying a libation! Rooms: Beautifully decorated and appointed. Nearby activities: Plenty to see and do within a few minutes walk. Ronnie Scott’s jazz venue is a mere 5 mins walk away. Walkability: Well located for the West End - theatres, clubs and major shopping streets Regent St, Liberty’s, Bond St are up to 15 mins away on foot. Noteworthy details: Quiet location, despite being in the heart of Soho. Great bar with buzzing vibe
Gorgeous place for drinks with friends or lunch when shopping becomes too much. A little pricey but totally worth it as a treat. You can use the bar without having to be a guest there. Very friendly attentive staff.Service: 5/5
Very formal and upstanding hotel in the middle of vibrant Soho. Weird experience to have 4 people around your table at breakfast guiding you to your place and constantly asking if everything is okay. Very expensive hotel as well. I had one of the cheaper rooms still expensive so almost no space to walk around the bed. Didn't sleep as well as the bed had a very soft mattress that my back didn't really like. It was a great experience but they won't see me coming back.
The Soho Hotel is a stylish boutique hotel nestled in the heart of vibrant Soho. Guests rave about the exceptional service, spacious rooms with unique decor, and central location. It's a popular spot for celebrities and those seeking a hip atmosphere. While pricey, the hotel offers a luxurious experience with a personal touch. If you're looking for a trendy stay in the center of London's action, the Soho Hotel is a top contender. Rooms: Great Nearby activities: Great Safety: Great Walkability: Great Food & drinks: Great Noteworthy details: Great
A lovely hotel tucked away just behind Oxford Circus. Had a wonderful afternoon tea based on the Devil wears Prada followed by a film and popcorn in the hotel cinema. A great location for visiting the shops and Christmas lights.Service: 5/5
It's an absolutely fantastic place. The people who work there are the nicest, most competent and professional. Nothing is impossible for Them. Thanks to Them our trip was very successful. The rooms are beautiful and clean, breakfasts and other meals in the restaurant are simply delicious. I will definitely come back.Rooms: 5/5
We had an amazing experience staying at Soho Hotel. The customer service is outstanding, they truly care about their guests. We felt so well taken care of and received many thoughtful gestures from the staff throughout our stay. Our son has food allergies and they were very accommodating and aware of his needs, which I deeply appreciated. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job as well. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The restaurant was lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Afternoon tea is a must! I would absolutely recommend this hotel and we hope to return! Thank you Soho for such a wonderful stay!
After spending an awfully long time debating which one of the boutique hotels in the Soho neighborhood, this was our final choice, narrowing to this or the Broadwick. We have never stayed at the Broadwick. We stayed for four nights. This hotel is just delightful. Semi-Formal, but not stuffily so, impeccable service is delivered by some of the best staff around. Attention to detail in their work makes the stay phenomenal. A few people to call out are Kevin, Lucas, Jo and John who helped us daily with food, drinks, taxis and special requests. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Superb location with an Elizabeth Line tube station a few steps away and surrounded by an endless supply of great bars and restaurants. It’s decorated with a relaxing contemporary elegance that makes the stay very relaxing with all the touches you’d expect, and a few nice surprises. We stayed in a terrace room. Top floor with floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony, well-stocked mini bar, and sound proofed walls. Bathroom has a great walk-in shower, motion sensor lighting which is great for a bio break during the night. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch a couple of times during the stay, all lovely. We had room service pretty late at night too, also delicious. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to The Soho Hotel, highly recommended location.
The Soho Hotel provides a luxurious and stylish experience in the heart of London. The decor is chic, with spacious rooms and excellent amenities. The staff is attentive, and the hotel's location is perfect for exploring Soho's vibrant scene. However, it may be on the pricier side for some guests.Rooms: 5/5
Incredibly unwelcoming rude reception service. I told them my friend had checked in already and I was waiting for them. I gave reception my friend’s name, which they confirmed. After waiting 15 minutes in the lobby, still waiting for my friend who still wasn’t there, they told me I couldn’t wait in the premises and asked me to wait OUTSIDE the hotel. Appallingly disrespectful reception staff. I was genuinely stupefied. Moments later my friend arrived and we entered together with absolutely no recognition or apologies from the staff for the previous encounter. Mortifying experience. Neither returning or recommending.
