I stayed in one of the windowless basement rooms with a double bed. Yes, it is very small but it was quiet, clean, the housekeeping was attentive, and the price was appropriate given the location. Traveling solo, it worked just fine as a place to sleep and shower. The small space means you need to keep yourself organized. If you are someone who likes to spend time hanging out or relaxing in your hotel room then I suggest booking a different style of room or staying elsewhere. The overall hotel has a moody, dark, warm, and inviting feel. The staff were always pleasant. Rooms: The basement rooms are very, very small but they are fine for a single person who is looking for a place to sleep and shower while they spend their time out and about in London. Nearby activities: The hotel is in the heart of Soho, walking distance to hundreds of restaurants, pubs, theatres, and shops. Transit access is good with several bus and tube stops within short walking distances. Walkability: Excellent walkability. Everything one might need is within 5 to 10 minutes.
Lovely boutique hotel in a great location with comfortable, pretty rooms. The staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We asked if they had any different pillows as one of us is allergic to feathers, and they asked what we would like instead and went straight out to buy some. Really impressive service and we will definitely be going back - thank you very much! I will be coming back again....
Really fabulous little find. Loved the quirky mini room and how quiet it was. On the doorstep to everything we wanted. The staff were pleasant. The only reason I've given the service 4 stars is because we asked for a couple of pillows and the guy brought them without pillow cases and was surprised that I dared to request two pillow cases too.
Nice cosy room. Bathroom was cleaned and bed was comfortable. Nice lobby with some sort of nice decor. The impeccable service and hospitality of your staff made our retreat most enjoyable. Definitely will come back to stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
The single worst travel experience of my life! Beware of trick photography, close ups of fluffy towels, Bath robes, a touch of marble, a pretty wall scone. Yet, zero of the floor plan. My room incl bath measured 2.0m x 2.2mts. So, where was the bed? Apparently the 58 roomed hotel is the brain-child of a German billionaire. Yep, I get it! A few 'suites' seem to be the rooms shown on websites, but, in reality myself and others were devastated, arguing at Reception to get fair value for £135 a night, zero breakfast. The entire floor area to dress, walk around, unpack, store baggage, was 80cm x 1.2cm. Get the drift! I couldn't fit through the shower door, so just splashed around. I was solo, on business, so how on earth would it work with two in the 'Cozy' room, looking for romance? like a game of Twister Oh, and beware of the clever words as well - 'cozy'. I have 2 questions; with carbon monoxide laws nowadays, how did this place get Council and Health Dept approval? And is this the future of travel? Surely travel belongs to all of us, for all to enjoy. This hotel represents exploitation, with a twist of advertising cunning tossed in. A sham.
The room was very small but perfect for 1 person, the customer service is amazing, the personal on the hotel are really nice. The Hotel is clean, elegant, and really beautiful. The location is incredible. Totally coming back
Great location and beautifully decorated. I booked one of their windowless rooms and it was just as advertised. It was a very small room but suited my needs. Location is near anything you could want to do in Soho.
I love the location and the coziness of the place. The room was dark and sexy buutt very small. I have nothing against small spaces, but the problem is they have no shelves or crooks to hang clothes and stuff to compensate for the space. The staff were very accomodating. I booked 3 mili cozy rooms, rhe other room has no window, well on the ceiling. We askes for a new room and the other guest transfered to a better room with proper windows. The hotel was in the very heart of everything, well it depends where your interests are. We lived near chinatown, sonderheim theater, and a 15 min walk away from regent/ oxford street. Many restaurants nearby, we did not need to go far to enjoy the night.
Got to be one of the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Fair enough we knew the “suite” we booked was 70m from reception. But , down a back street above a restaurant?! Access is via an unmarked steel door . We had to barge past drunken smoking people to get in. Like some modern Dickensian scene. Once inside the narrow dirty staircase leads to the “suites”. Our “suite” turned out to be a cupboard eigh z shower room the size of a phone box. The room was 25C. The air con was ineffective and open the quadruple glazed windows the sound of the nightclub opposite open till 3am , the street scene below, and the smell of cigarette smoke , alcohol and restaurants is deafening and nauseating. If the primary function of a hotel is a good nights sleep, this one fails miserably. I wrote this review at 04.30hrs
Beautiful hip hotel in Soho. Rooms are very small, but very nicely fitted out. Location is amazing. It gets noisy in the morning with trash collection and deliveries, but such is city life.Rooms: 4/5
