Great little café that provides a good working pit stop if you’re on the go.
Cafe staff have one of the worst behaviours I have encountered in central London. Both ladies are a disgrace to have in a client facing role and this has been going on for many months. I would suggest replacing the staff with people that appreciate what it requires to work in a professional environment. Drinks are also mediocre, as it requires the barista to care to produce a decent cup of coffee. The working environment is pleasant and lively though.
The staff are incredibly rude and uncommunicative. I cannot comprehend how they have jobs where customer service is a necessary skill. I've never experienced such a rude and unhelpful service from the two women working anywhere else in London. Not only were they rude through a very simple ordering process they didn't even let me know when my drink was ready and just put it on the side! It's a huge shame that this place is let down by the staff because it is lovely inside. Won't be going back.
The space is good but often the cafe staff are sullen, moody and uncommunicative. Often your order isn't registered until the end when you're told the price and your coffee is plonked on the counter with a 'there you go'. I've decided to go to Carlo's round the corner as they are more friendly and a little cheaper.
Cafe has had a fantastic re-brand and is now called 'Hank and Ginger'. Amazing homemade cakes including vegan and gluten free options. Staff are a delight and have created a real friendly vibe in the building.
Great cafe, I’ve noticed some great changes. There is a new operator with new staff. It’s now called Hank & Ginger, amazing new menu and look! I love the vegan options !!
Very nice modern building , Nice design with decent cafe on the ground floor, suitable for a quick snack or coffee. Corridors to offices are a little dark in contrast to the light and open offices with large opening windows.
Terrific vibe at Hank and Ginger, really friendly and fun staff, always a smile when you come in AND they have recyclable straws - keep up everyone else!
Cafe cannot be trusted check your change or amount being charged to your card adds up you will be ripped off if not. Very unimpressed.
Not the most welcoming place. Once you're in, okay.
