Went to see Jannie Dee and Sophia here in a cabaret it was so beautifully done dancing and singing and amazing musicians too .. so much talent and what an excellent setting for this show! The bar staff were very relaxed too..

Good fringe theatre, staff are great and there is a nice bar to relax before and after the show. The space for the performance is good for a fringe venue. Would definitely go back to see other productions there.

Another example of a small theatre doing things really well. The show we saw was excellently acted and directed. Small but friendly reception area If you have mobility issues, ask to sit in the front row as the rest are tiered. Don't confuse it with the Bush Theatre nearby!

The Playground Theatre runs inspirational works as part of their ‘seasons’. Currently running the Gail Louw season featuring three plays. The well known Blonde Poison, the new Rika’s Rooms and The Girl in the Green Jumper. A nice well appointed theatre, with a lovely cafe. Book early to avoid dissapointment

This is a hidden gem of a theatre. I watched an exceptional, deeply moving production of “Agate” here on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. The staff were kind and welcoming. Creating a space for conversation. I highly recommend this gorgeous theatre.

Lovely intimate theatre. Cozy little bar for pre drinks and the bar staff are fantastic.

Nice cozy venue. Seats were comfortable and in proper theatre setup, small in size though but was fit for the purpose.

A very well executed theatrical production of one of Chekhov’s short stories. The film clips worked perfectly to set the scene. Well worth seeing.
