Great venue ! We recently hired the hall to host a party to celebrate the life of a dear one!
Wonderful venue! We used the Pyramid Room to host a team meeting and it was just perfect. Beautiful, airy space with a little outdoor terrace and a kind, helpful team who run the centre. Thank you! We'll definitely be back!
attended a carnival band launch. It was lovely. will go back.
Reasonable sized lively Community Space plus Has space for hiring out to public for Functions/Events:kitchen, restroom. Satisfactory facilities. Site off the main road not far from Westbourne Underground Station.
I used the Pyramid Room at the very top, which is accessible by lift, spacious and is light and airy, with a glass ceiling and some rooftop views. Theres a terrace but I didn't get a chance to try it. I used it as a temporary studio but it could just as easily be a kids' party venue. The staff were friendly and attentive.
People who greet me at the entrance was friendly, the pyramid room was very noisy, there only restroom were on the ground floor. A person attending and event at other room have come to interrupt us to ask for a mop to clean their room. Overall the cleaning state of the place was poor.
It's functional but needs some love. It's a happy and safe place for the children that use the spot, It just feels cold.
Not an easy access building if you are disabled but l assume you ask for a ramp to get in. This was probably built in the eighties and is definitely showing signs of wear and tear at ground level where there seems to be some damp. There are three floors with a narrow lift. Stairs are open plan tread and l hope are well lit in the evenings. I was attending a workshop during daylight hours when it was sunny. The roof terrace outside the top floor studio was particularly pleasant with lovely wrought iron tables and chairs adorned with well loved plants. The fig tree in the studio was large and luscious. The Swiss cheese plant needs repotting. It must be a much appreciated venue in its locality that could do with a bit of future proofing. I think it deserves it for its obvious contribution to dance, music and art.
A vital resource to the community. Providing much needed activities for our young people. The venue is very versatile and easily connected via public transport.
Good for small events/parties, however ot is located in a residential are so there will be a time limit for loud music.
