A very disappointing meal experience last weekend after previously being one of our favourite places. Overpriced and overcooked very skinny duck with boring boiled vegetables. Very expensive Fish of the Day and identical boring boiled vegetables. A pity because the Venue is greatly improved.

Always a lovely meal. Friendly professional staff. Beautiful big views. Pickwick is a pub of 2 halves. very modern tastefully furnished extention and very old traditional entrance.

Very poor - been here few times before and the standard was fine. Visited on bank holiday weekend and whilst there were only 3 tables to be served our food sat under the hot lamps for at least 15 minutes. Eventually the chef had to leave the kitchen to find the sullen waiter/front of house - food eventually served with the admitance that he had gotten side tracked. Food was cold and dry.

An excellent family pub, restaurant and hotel. Very homely, food is great staff excellent. Is on the high price range but fully justified by the quality presentation and taste. Well worth a visit. Also has a children's play area in the grounds.
