Nice location for a restaurant. Enjoyed my meal. Wonderful staff. Couldn't be friendlier or more eager to help us. The menu didn't wow me...nothing on it that I hadn't had elsewhere BUT what I did choose was cooked beautifully. The dishes took their time coming out which is always a good sign. All being freshly prepared. I would happily return .
This had been a bucket list location and I was not let down. We stayed two nights eating in the restaurant and met all my expectations and more.Well worth the expense. Service was exceptional and glad to see the service charge was all given to the staff. It is a fish restaurant and the quality of the food was fantastic.Loved every minute of my stay. Stayed in estuary view room which allowed us to have a free parking space as free parking is limited. The breakfast in the morning was the best breakfast i have ever had at any hotel stay
I was not disappointed after waiting a long time to eat here. Living in Australia means I dont get to Cornwall often. Beautiful setting and nice atmosphere friendly, professional staff and wonderful food. Not a huge menu, but delicious and beautifully presented. Lots of tables and not too close, busy but not full on the night i was there. Their take on a Pina Colada was both surprising and delicious.
Wow, what an experience that was totally enhanced by the charming Alex who coached a very novice sea food eater.nHaving never tried oysters, muscles, or crevettes, Alex walked me and my partner through the entire process of enjoying these wonderful, locally caught seafood.nMy personal thanks go to Alex for making my first taste of these delicacies a memorable one for all the right reasons.
I had a magical day attending the cooking school. It was everything I had hoped for and well worth the wait. I highly recommend this event. Book well in advance. Come hungry!
