The Parsonage Hotel and Spa is set is six acres of beautiful formal gardens and woodland, only a short drive from the historic city of York.

Story

Built in the early 1840's the building maintains many of its original features. We also have the award winning Lascelles Restaurant, a beautiful Conservatory and elegant Lounges. We have recently added The Cloisters Spa, for added luxury.

The Parsonage Hotel and Spa is perfect for that special mid week or weekend get away with s 50 en-suite bedrooms. Choose from the Main House, the Coach House, the Cottage or the Lodge. We offer the choice of standard, superior and 4 Poster rooms.

Beautiful looking hotel with beautiful gardens & surrounding views. The rooms are a little dated & would benefit from being updated. All the staff were polite & helpful. The spa & it facilities were excellent! I would go just to use the spa and gym! The staff in the spa were very nice & on hand to answer any questions. The Fat Abbot pub - brilliant! Food is fantastic as was the service & staff. Would highly recommend the Parsonage Hotel & Spa!

First of all this place is fabulous. I would like to start with the breakfast. It was absolutely amazing. Packed full of protein and carbohydrates. I personally loved the eggs, bacon and sausages. Next the WiFi was amazing there was a wireless access point just in the top corner of our room. The bed was very comfy but a little stain was seen. The pub is great and has amazing food for example fish and chips, burgers, lemonade and more. You can also choose a variety of alcoholic drinks. A TV is also placed in the pub lounge so you can watch freely. Toilets were very clean and nice. The shower was alright but when you turn it on it hurts when it splashes you. The room came with treats and tea so pretty nice indeed. The parking was great we parked our car right outside our room so we can go out and explore all of York. Thank you

Stayed as overnight guest, ample parking, lovely location, comfortable room, nice gym with plenty of equipment. Lovely pool facilities all well kept and presented. Aromatherapy room smelt of sweaty feet for some strange reason. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection of cooked and cereals on offer. Overall well priced, would definitely stay again. Well done. 👍👍

Really nice venue, unfortunately is hard to find the location,especially when driving night time. 
I would recommend this for middle age people.
Prepare yourself to wait a lot if you decide to have dinner here.
I had a 25 min neck, shoulder and scalp massage, i goes really quick, cause the clock starts from the moment you get in the room :( so i was dissapointed about that, tried to book a longer massage but no slots available for the days i was there. So i would advice to book well in advance.

Nice hotel with a very good spa facility. Advise booking  spa treatments well in advance as they are busy. Food at the adjacent Fat Abbot gastro pub very good indeed although perhaps a little pricey. Bus stop right outside the hotel provides easy access to York centre if you want to leave the car behind (recommended). Ample parking at front and side of the hotel. Rooms clean, well maintained and reasonably spacious. Overall package and price point can be considered good value for money.
