Guys were awesome just cycled from Hexham along Hadrian's way and they let us stash our bikes while we changed, ate and drank - great food... I know mash and pie is a tradition but fat boy chippies would have made it super awesome. 5 stars. Great place

Stopped here with less than hour to kill before catching a train home with no great expectations but the pie & mash are awesome and it came out quickly, too. Lovely grub & very helpful staff. Definitely will return next time I'm in Newcastle.

Perfect location in town with beautiful atmosphere to enjoy a drink and a chat. Great for big groups and so impressed they have a separate space you can book for special occasions.

Excellent service from lucas he was good craic, patience and professional. Food was top notch glad we called in.

Nice environment for a drink after a long day, quick services. The waiter was lovely  Conner Hooper.

Enjoyed this place considering COVID issues, they made you feel looked after as they tried to make the best of it - Al the host is a top man
