Even though Newcastle never won, my day with two friends was just great at Rosies Bar. We were in Mr Alexander's upstairs, staff are so helpful, Good pint of Guinness as well, got to mention the manageress who is always at hand, with a lovely friendly approach, 10 out of 10 Rosie's Bar.
Great place good beer
Went to Newcastle for a weekend, found this little gem, proper old fashion friendly pub

Jukebox wasn't working so no atmosphere, all you could hear was drunken football fans singing
Just a brilliant saturday afternoon spent there sat 5th Nov 2o22 Ian from Wigan.
Haven't been to this place for years but it hasn't changed. Situated at one end of China town it isn't huge but has an interesting array of memorabilia including heads that move! Also read the history of Rosie £10 for a G and T and pint of Timothy Taylor . Quite a few lagers and Beers including a couple on handpump. Crisps were an eye watering £1.25 but I really wanted them you can tell I don't often buy them in pubs!
Went for match day today. Busy but good atmosphere all round. One of the plastic heads above the bar started moving on its own tho which proper creeped me and some other fans out tho. Not sure if it was meant to do that. May not be going back
A very welcoming pub with plenty of choice of beers and lager's to suit all tastes,staff polite and courteous too
Nee one else in. Great atmosphere until someone else walked in.
