It's a bit rough and ready, but the juke box is amazing, and the people are great!Service: 4/5
Good juke box. Shame about the prices though. £14. 75 for a pint and a double gin x tonic was a bit steep.
Good bar for karaoke on a Thursday and Sunday evening. It can get quite busy on match days. Staff are friendly, drinks are cheap, plenty of room/seats in the bar. Toilets could do with a bit of an update but the rest of the bar is fine!
Very cool, laid-back place. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon for a few pops, and stayed for quite a few more than that. There's a jukebox with a good selection and it gives you like 4 or 5 plays for a pound. Nice! I think the jukebox has an internet connection for downloading still more songs, if you need that. Check out the sign on the jukebox - I love it.
Was going great til the karaoke started, then hot even better. Belting night, don't go if you've got work then next day.Food: 3/5
Hello Newcastle! First beer of the my Hadrians Wall Path hike!Service: 5/5
Unbelievably a treble is cheaper than a double! Always friendly staff! Been going there for years but only just remembered to write a review! It helps if you're skinny in the gents toilets Service: 5/5
Had a great time after watching Newcastle United at St James Park and a few locals invited us to back for a few drinks and banter. Everyone welcoming inside, especially as we were visitors from Northern Ireland and non NUFC fans. Bar staff very friendly and smiling
Staff very nice and friendly treble vodka for a fiver whats not to like. Never been there before but would Definitely visit again. Pretty quiet as it was saturday afternoon but it was a really good place to sit with friends and have drinks.
Love it or... love it. I love it. I always have a good time at R. Great location, good prices, 2 rooms to choose from... I have lots of memories from here and all great. This place have won 5 stars for me 16 years ago and lots has changed, but I still come back here when I am in Newcastle.
