One of my favourite pubs in Newcastle! The food is all delicious and there is a nice variety on the menu. They have lots of TV screens making it a great location to watch football, and the staff are always friendly giving a lovely atmosphere to this charming old pub.Food: 5/5
Best Nachos we have ever had and a lovely way to spend an afternoon with a few drinks. Would highly recommend thank youFood: 5/5
Great pub, right opposite central station. However, I thought it was called the Nicholson's.Food: 5/5
Very pleasant experience. We're just visiting the area and had just arrived. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The food was nice and arrived in good time. The venue is also a cool little spot.Food: 5/5
This pub is one of kind. Many people pass and go being so close to the station. It’s the nature of the beast. The staff are attentive, welcoming and chilled considering. They do a great job. Sam and Ania are awesome.Food: 4/5
The pub landlord/manager was lovely. I asked if he was showing the Africa cup of nations final. He said no but he can put it on for us. He also lowered the music so we could enjoy the match. Very kind. Locals were very friendly and drink were reasonably priced. Really enjoyed watching the match with two Nigerian friends and a regular who we got chatting to. Great evening.
Lovely atmosphere! really friendly helpful bar staff and helpful. food a little bit on the pricey side but worth every penny! Will definitely recommend to family and friends Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible toilet and plenty of space to move
After a week of mediocre food, my faith in Newcastle food has been restored. Our entire table was thrilled with their orders - universal agreement that this is the best meal of our trip. The service was great- quick and friendly, prices are reasonable, and the food and drink are everything we hoped for.Food: 5/5
Handily located pub for the station and arena. They had a discount for arena ticket holders on my visit which was good of them. Staff were all friendly, especially the bar man Ollie and the female manager can't recall her name. Fairly good selection of ales available on cask and keg. Good choice of food available. Food was ok, nothing special but nothing to complain about either. Well decorated and traditional feel.
Loved visiting the Get Carter Pub, great atmosphere & food & staff were polite & helpful especially Dom the Bartender, cheers mate..Food: 4/5
