Found this hotel for a trip to see The Lottery Winners at Blackpool Tower. I paid £66 for a single room with breakfast. I was given room 123. A nice single room,. comfortable with clean bedding and compact bathroom. The breakfast was very nice too with lots of juices and cereals as well as a nice English breakfast. You can get a larger breakfast for £3 extra but what I had was enough for me. The staff were very helpful and id recommend The Lawton and would definitely come back
Room very basic, sliding door in shower we had to lift to open and close, toilet seat didn't fit and basin stained.bed and towels clean. Didn't think it was worth the £180 for 2nights stay. An argument was going on with guests in our corridor from 12:45 to 4:00am , breakfast was good. Rooms: Need a complete update. Walkability: Easy access to town centre
Still here what a shambles. We arrive go to room open door and got someone's stuff in and we have wheel chair with us as my mum hasn't long left due to cancer take her back down stairs and recieve another room to find someone's medication on floor then we get told we can park in parking slot over road to get there no space after go back to hotel to be told to park behind hotel while my mum sat waiting. In room grime on taps, dust on window sill, mucky towels. We have had a guy walk in our room while my mum was getting changed this experience for my mum has been absolutely rubbish and will never return here. I told them about my mum and chemo I chose this hotel because of good reviews maybe we are just unlucky but not for us as thinking of going home. We paid £310 for 2 nights not worth this amount at all and you have to pay parking on top which got wavered due to hassle we had getting booked in and parking Rooms: Disgusting
We stayed there for one week and loved it. All of the staff were friendly and the breakfast was outstanding definitely the highlight for us. The room was fine which had tea/ coffee facilities, dryer, small tv, shower, toilet and the hotel had free wifi. We really have no complaints for what it is apart from figuring out how the toilet flush and shower operates which were fine once we learnt how it operates. Definitely recommend it and would be coming back again.
Stayed here on sat 9th March 2024, for an event at the winter Gardens. Ideal location for the winter Gardens as its only a short walk around the corner . Room was clean with tea/ coffee making facilities and a good size tv . All of the staff we're very helpful and friendly , with Keith in the dining room at breakfast being very welcoming and attentive . The breakfast was very tasty with unlimited juices , tea/ coffee and toast to the table . Honestly would definitely recommend a stay here , it's excellent value for money .
I'm actually an employee at the Lawton hotel, not upstairs but the kitchen area, I've only been with the hotel for a short while & we do care, I wouldn't work for a better hotel we have a laugh, we have banter, but most of all we are a team we help each other too make your stay with us, most of all we careRooms: 4/5
Lovely hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely staff. Breakfast was lovely. Would stay there again. Parking round the back. Rooms: Room was very clean. Beds were clean and comfortable.
I stayed there 26 Feb to 2 Mar 2024 the people there are great I was very happy to have stayed there. once I learned the short cut to the main town I found out it was close to everything The met me with a nice smile told me where my room was I use a mobility scooter and had no troubble getting in and out of my room .... sorry to say one other chain RAISED the price when I told them I was handycap hum. no name but starts with an H the price of staying at the Lawton was better than reasonable thank you all at the Lawton for my stay with you all Jim Rooms: I was very happy with my roon Nearby activities: not far from the main area's once you learn the short cut left out of the hotel stright to town Safety: having my right big toe removed and my left leg removed they made sure everything I needed was there for me I am one if I didn't like the hotel I would say so but THANK all the people at this hotel for making my stay there enjoyable Walkability: not a real bad area I was all over the place Food & drinks: I do not drink a lot had 2 beers my limit per 6 months lol
Booked this place as it said it had disability amenities. Well it had a ramp and an elevator....that was it. Besides the difficulty with steps there was no way I could get my wheelchair through the door as the wall was one step in!! I had to ask my friend to hold my chair in her room. The room was dirty...mould on the shower head and on the tiles. The door to the bathroom only opened so far as it hit the bed! There was dirt under the cold water tap. BUT the breakfast staff and food were very good. Smoking was allowed outside the main entrance even though there was a sign saying not to do so!! It also advertises itself as family friendly BUT there was nowhere for children to play and so they were running around all over the place!! Adults were effing and jeffing ....not very friendly at all. You have to pay £7 extra for parking but not guaranteed a parking spot!!
Very friendly staff, we visited with a child in a wheelchair and oxygen and they couldn't be more accommodating. Nice spacious clean room. Nice big bar area that they allowed us to eat food in. Breakfast was lovely and well organised. Breakfast staff polite and friendly. Hotel is in great location walking distance to tower and attractions. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and we would definitely return. Nearby activities: Close to all the attractions Food & drinks: Breakfast was lovely
