Don't be fooled by the pictures posted. Our toilet bore no resemblance, really small anyone big would struggle to fit in the shower. Whole place needs a refit. Upsides, the beds were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Miserable reception when entered. Told to take luggage in and book in first leaving your car on double yellow lines traffic wardens around. Room dull, bathroom not over clean, mould in shower, no hot water from sink tap, no soap dish to place soap when in shower so it has to stay on the floor. Breakfast really rushed. We had not even sat down when tea and coffee was put on the table. As eating cereal cold toast put down. No sooner had we eaten cereal cooked breakfast placed on table not very warm. At no point were we asked if everything was ok. The floor is very uneven and when someone walked past the whole table felt like a herd of elephants had just gone past. What more can I say!!!

Been to the Lawton again, we love this hotel everyone is so friendly and helpful, so thanks to James, Martin, Nicola, and Kyle Sue in the kitchen who does the best breakfast's, and Sarah, didn't see Keith this time, but thanks to you too, everyone always makes sure you enjoy you're time.

Had a lovely 4 days at the hotel,staff very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Recommended.
