Nice atmosphere and set up. Feels like a ‘real’ pub with plenty of outdoor seating on the street. There seems to be a standard 2 largers Victoria and Menabrea, 2 ales Foundation and something else, and a couple ciders/Radlers on tap. There is also a selection of bottles and wines and a few cocktails on the board.nnThere is a relatively compact menu that changes from time to time, however everything we have had over our 5 or so visits has been excellent. I can highly recommend the roast pork, fennel and salsa verde sandwich. 2 huge pieces of extremely tender pork that easily rival Pig and Butcher.nnStaff have always been friendly and easy to talk to.nnIt’s approximately £6.50 for a larger, which is steep but still cheaper than similar pubs in the area Plimsoll is around £7.50 for the same pint!.nnI would highly recommend a visit, especially in the summer for the outdoor seating :
Gorgeous pub with a great beer selection and lovely food menu. Staff were so lovely and the outdoor seating is the perfect spot to enjoy your pint.
Love my local pub! It has amazing food that changes seasonally. The decor is also georg with wooden outdoor seating for summer on a quiete street.
The pub is set in a gentrified residential area next to a small park.nA friend and I stopped in for a pint of beer while exploring pubs in the area, it was mentioned in one of the good beer guides we had looked at. The pub seems very nice, plenty of seating inside and out, the outer frontage reminded me of a more European vibe, inside the pub was not as traditional as the facade suggested.nIt was quite bustling for lunchtime on a Sunday.nWe did not stop long enough to eat but the food we saw being brought out looked very good and there was an extensive menu chalked up on a wall.nMay consider returning for a longer stay in the future. It was very nice on the summers day we visited.nThe pub is dog friendly.nWorth a visit if in the area I think.
One of my favourite pubs in London! Great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Lunch specials are amazing and well priced!
