Me, my husband and members of our family all stayed here for our wedding, and we absolutely cannot fault it at all. The team were all so lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful. All the rooms were lovely with more than enough space, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the pub itself is also really lovely too. The location is great, close to parks and with brilliant transport links too. Really couldn't recommend The Brownswood more.
Great place to stay. Fabulous location right next to beautiful park. Service was wonderful. As a solo traveller I appreciated being able to eat the food I ordered at the bar in my room, and the bar staff helped carry up my food. The breakfast was nice - continental with lovely fruit salad and healthy options like fresh avocado and tomato. The breakfast staff were welcoming and helpful. Only gave 4 stars because the room was hot there was a fan but it was too noisy to use all night, and I thought it was a little on the pricey side for a pub hotel - but maybe that's just London for you! All in all I enjoyed my stay - thank you.
Stayed here for a week and it was absolutely lovely. Staff were helpful, kind, and welcoming. Although the rooms are above a pub you cannot hear a thing from the room. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and just overall fantastic.nnThe area is also wonderful. There is a park nearby, a Sainabury's, and a chemist all within a 3-minute walking distance.nnI highly recommend this place.
My sister booked us all rooms for her wedding last weekend. The location was great, rooms were lovely and the staff were superb, particularly the ladies at breakfast. Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness.
I had a very nice 2 night stay. The room was modern, very clean, comfortable and warm. It was also very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice continental breakfast and the pub is nice and cosy too. Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch as well. Would highly recommend.
