Love this place. Staff are friendly. The pub is really chill. Mondo Sando have a kitchen here so you're always in for a good feed. Pints are reasonable prices also. Can't go wrong. Go here more and support this place. It's also dog friendly with plenty of space to hunker down with the pooch.
Cafe mondo is banging!! One of the best sandwiches I’ve had and the potato salad was out of this world. The grove house tavern is many of my friends favour pub and for a good reason
Working at King's this was our go to place to hang up given the clean and spacious pub so close. Staff are great but the food can definitely be improved. The cocktails also need an upgrade. We had ordered Sunday roast but the Yorkshire pudding was burnt and the tatties were hardened. A bit more veggies would also have been great.nThe place itself is vast and airy and even during snowy chill in December, it was nice and warm.
Just took a Saturday afternoon drink and lunch here. Sat inside as all the tables outside were busy in the sunshine. Looks like massively popular with local residents with a 20s / 30s / 40s focus. Food was fantastic - we had Mondo sandwiches and burgers. Very tasty indeed. Pleasant service from all, will visit again!
