We arrived to a very warm welcome . We selected the chicken supreme and blade of beef , cooked perfectly and full of flavour , the goats cheese bombs and sauce were delightful. Fabulous service and relaxed atmosphere , we will definitely be back.
We had a lovely dinner here. Even though we arrived quite late, the team still welcomed us warmly. We tried the Lake District lamb, the turkey, and the duck confit — everything was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. A wonderful experience overall!
Had a lovely family Sunday dinner here 18th Jan. We were a large group and they gave us a fantastic table in a room all to ourselves.nFood was excellent, service impeccable and overall a great experience.
We went for dinner as a family after walking the dales way and everything was perfect. Lovely and friendly staff, beautiful cocktails and absolutely delicious, authentic and reasonably priced food. The goats cheese and apricot vegetable bake was to die for and even though I am vegetarian and usually don't like meat I was tempted to have a bite of my mum's Cumberland sausages, which were perfectly seasoned. The stick toffee pudding was the tastiest I have ever had as well. Couldn't recommend enough.
I just wanted to reach out and say what a fantastic Sunday lunch we just had with yourselves. The food was amazing and so delicious, it’s got to be one of the best roast dinner we’ve had at a restaurant and your staff are so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for taking the time to email back and to get us booked in. We will definitely be back next year when we visit the lakes again.nnMany thanksnCathy
