This Hotel is the most inviting and fabulous accommodation for any dog lover! I love a break away from home but hate being away from my hounds so being able to be here with them has made this my best holiday ever! Lovely clean rooms, fabulous food and wines but most importantly just the most welcoming and amiable owner and staff, I have loved every moment of my stay and will definitely be coming back later in the year. #perfect

We had a holiday cottage just around the corner and popped in for a mid afternoon drink. Such was the friendly welcome, we changed our plans and booked an evening meal at The Lamplighter. Lovely food, a warm welcome and a log fire - what more could you need? I bet the outside terrace is lovely in the warmer months. We'll be back!

Great stay in a fantastic B&B. The food was superb and there was plenty of it. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and a good sized en suite. Would definitely go back and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I stayed at the Lamplighter Dining Rooms over the bank holiday weekend and the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the food was great. I would highly recommend it to friends and family, I think I will return there in the future.

Room's are nice bathrooms are very good but toilet brushes should also be in there. Breakfast and the staff are excellent
