5 Star Experience! My husband and I stayed in the Broadcragg suite at The Applegarth in December. Having a couple of years ago stayed in the main hotel, we have been itching to stay in one of the suites and it most definitely did not disappoint in fact, there are not enough superlatives to describe it. What can we say about the hot tub, beyond words. Looking out to the snowy fells whilst sipping Champagne, an experience we will never forget. Breakfast was stand out with lovely sausage, thick bacon and everything was cooked to perfection. All this and such friendly and personal service, we couldn’t have asked for anymore. We will most definitely be back!

Stayed here for one night a present from our children lovely place great staff spotless clean great breakfast and facilities definitely recommend!

We have just returned from a two night stay at Applegarth Villas. If you want luxury this is it. The accommodation was second to none, the food was some thing else and the owners and staff were very welcoming. They couldn't do enough for you. We were upgraded free of charge to an ultimate luxury room by the owners which we thought was a very nice gesture. Will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Great staff and great facilities, the suites and main building look to have been recently done out. Great location for nice restaurants on an evening. Nice views. One thing we would say is it got quite hot in our room and we could here lots of taps and flushes at night! Although to be expected I suppose in an old building. We didn't let it ruin our stay... We recommend the afternoon tea - Great value. Would come again, definitely booking the suites next time!

Very relaxed ... everything you need for couples break. Highly recommend. Will be going back again.
