nWe had a fantastic experience at Lakeland Windermere, and it was all thanks to the best manager we’ve ever come across — Robin.nnFrom the moment we arrived, Robin greeted us with a big smile and a genuinely happy attitude. His level of competence and product knowledge was outstanding — he knew everything about the products and explained them with such confidence and ease. Wow, he truly made our day!nAnd we left with the our new Air-Fryer “Cuisinart”nnWhat impressed us just as much was the way he communicated with his staff: calm, patient, and respectful. It’s clear he leads by example, and it shows in the overall atmosphere of the store.nnThank you, Robin, and thank you to the entire Lakeland Windermere team for such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!
We visited today, New Year's Day, to eat in the cafe. The food is always lovely, but what we noticed particularly today was the pleasantness, politeness and efficiency of the staff. From showing us to our table, to willingness to adapt the menu, to the speed of taking orders and removing dirty plates, and catering for our dog, nothing was too much trouble. Your staff are a real asset to the store.
An impromptu trip to Lakeland this morning resulted in a leisurely shopping experience & 2 lovely meals.nnAs I browsed around the store, my husband went to the cafe to read his paper. He ordered soup & a sandwich with a pot tea. In his words, it totally hit the spot!nnAfter buying a few items I wanted & some I didn’t actually need, I headed upstairs for some lunch too.nnI had the goats cheese & beetroot salad which was soooooo tasty!!!!! The crispy mushroom balls were scrumptious too & we actually asked how they were made nnAll the staff in the store & cafe were helpful, polite & very pleasant. It was an absolute pleasure to visit. Plus we got 10% off our meal with our Lakeland Card - it was a win/win/win all round
Had to visit on our way home from a fab few days away! It did not disappoint what a warm welcome from the store manager! The store was empty as it was 9 am Saturday morning. The huge tree outside was a sight to see and the vast mix of Christmas product was unreal. Yep we spent a bit!!!!!!nWe had a good catch up with the manager whom explained were the tree came from and were to take the best pictures of the store. We finished our visit with the breakfast sanie which was huge and a fab coffee and fresh orange weldone on an amazing store.
This bright airy store is amazing with thousands of cooking, baking and it seems every other food/drink preparation device that is made. I recommend allowing at least an hour to browse all the display stands. Don't leave without visiting the restaurant upstairs whether you want coffee and cake or something more substantial. The menu is full of special treats. Make sure you are hungry if you order afternoon tea.
