Look, I have never done this before but felt I had to complain, had lunch today with 3 others and the meal was a disgrace. What was advertised as chicken pie was potato with mushy chicken and mushroom underneath, where was the pastry? My wife had fish and chips, the chips appeared to be yesterday's, warmed up. We ordered a glass of red wine, it failed to appear. Shocking and overpriced.

Friendly and helping staff, we ordered 8 different dishes and a couple of starters an everything arrived hot and on time. I really recommend the housemade burgers! Definetly coming back soon!!

Visited twice today...lunchtime and late evening. Was busy at lunch so we had a wait for our hot sandwiches ( this was explained when I asked for food ) but this gave us more time to enjoy the atmosphere. Food was great, as were the drinks, try the Collie Wobbles ale...lovely. Evening was quieter, but the ambience was better, and gave us more time to enjoy our drinks..try the Isle of Dogs ale

Brilliant night, staff very friendly prices probably the best around, had a great deal on a pint and prosecco for £7, steak was perfect! Well done and carry on the good work..
