Oh my, where to begin. We'd come from a walk and set our sights on this pub and what a choice it was! The first thing you notice is that in both walls they line up the choices. The second thing you notice is the help-yourself fridges on the left filled to capacity with numerous types of drink of which you will definitely want to try at least half of it. I had a extremely satisfying cherry beer and topped it off with a pint of pear wheat beer, which was heaven on a hot summer day. The barman was friendly and knowledgeable: when I told him my interest and lack of knowledge in cherry beer he immediately listed a few of them and recommended me the aforementioned cherry beer. And he was right, it was delicious and inexpensive. A friendly chatty place that puts no expectation on you to know your beers, and leaves you feeling more sure of yourself. If this was my local place, I'd be there every weekend. Oh, and also they give you a pile of nibbles to go with your drink on the house which is such a sensible and kind gesture. Excellent work folks! You know how to run a pub!

Brilliant little gem in windermere. It's a quiet place with a homely vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining how all the drinks worked. They have a large selection of bottled ales and some more on tap, as well as the usual wines and spirits. They even brew some of their own beers as well!!

Best place to grab a beer (or four) due to the crazy good selection. Features worlds strongest beer as well. Small place but it's due to expand. Super cool staff make you feel like a local. Small bites include cheese and meat slates with chutney. Time flies here!

Best bar in Windermere. Fantastic small craft beer bar with an expansive selection of craft beers & knowledgeable friendly staff. Very relaxed atmosphere topped off with some very sheepish pun wall graffiti. Full marks!
