"Our founder Edwin Henry Booth had one simple aim, to sell the best food and drink available, in attractive stores, staffed with first class assistants. Since 1847, we have worked closely with local suppliers from the Northern counties we call home: Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria and Yorkshire – Booths Country."

Lovely coffee at Booths cafe in Windermere. Sadly, the chips were not so impressive! Cooked very nicely but we got only just a handful in a bowl. Ordered a second bowl thinking the second one might be larger, but no. Wasn't going to order a third after paying £2.75 per 'a few in a bowl'. Come on Booths, sort it out!
Probably a lovely store, but we went specifically from Boness to catch a bus so we could go to the cafe and it was already closed we got there at about 4.15pm. Several others clearly wanted a drink or cake but were also disappointed. Why close so early in a holiday resort?
This should be the first stop any self caterers should make if staying in the South Lakes. Two hours free parking as well so there’s time to visit the cafe along with picking up your provisions.
Poorly laid out store but worst of all it is phenomenally expensive. It’s like Waitrose where all the own brand stuff is removed and replaced with farm shop products with farm shop prices. No arguing with quality but as the only big supermarket in the area, it will encourage more home deliveries.
Very busy with not very wide aisles. A bit cluttered. Great produce as always. Entrance to the car park is a bit difficult to locate & signage around entrance is poor.
I prefer to review real ale pubs, restaurants and hotels. Booths is the only supermarket chain that I actually like to visit. They seem to stock a vast array of intetesting items in relatively small spaces. This Booths is no exception. Easy parking right next to the railway station. Great place to stock up for a train journey. Christmas selections always good. Staff seem happy working for them. Wish there was one near me. Booth Bear loved this visit.
Made a welcome change from other supermarkets, prices slightly higher than others. Think of an upmarket, Waitrose. Staff were very professional and engaging. It's worth a visit.
I dont have a Booths Supermarket near me in Bolton, so whenever I come to the lakes I always go for my shopping. Lovely food. I usually bring an Extra tasty chicken home with me
Nice place just next to the station. I sat there as I was more than hour early for my train! I had a regular cappucino for £3.40. Staff were polite & friendly. Nice seating.
Excellent supermarket with good quality food. Free parking for 2 hours & 4 ionity fast chargers in the car park for electric vehicles. A busy cafe as well.
