Large supermarket focusing on quality local products, besides the usual offerings. Fresh cheeses and other delicacies can be bought at the counter. They have a large selection of specialty wines and beers. Definitely a more upmarket supermarket than the Sainsbury and Coop in town.
I was told that you could find 'Booths' here in Windermere and I was certainly not disappointed.nnGoods sold here are diversed and organized. Prices well labelled. You could get all of your daily necessities here, from fresh meat and groceries, pastries, ready-to-eat snacks and prepackaged food, dairy and cheese, teas and coffee etc.nnPlace was spacious too so you could shop comfortably.
Lovely visit to booths, the fresh baked bread is amazing and some other goodies whilst there, cafe was great too. Young lady on cafe till was busy but handled it well even though other member of staff was too busy talking to other staff in kitchen while she should have prepped my drinks. Charged our car which was great but the cost of public chargers are ridiculous. Overall a pleasant experience.
This is a great store, it's got lots of choice with everything you'd expect and more. There's a section that sells souvenirs and household bits.nnThe cafe has a delicious range of cakes and hot amd cold food. I had a piece of Tiramsu sponge cake which was large and fresh.nYou get 2 hours free parking or you can extend to 3 if you buy food from the cafe.
Lovely shop. We also had lunch in the cafe but wouldn't use this facility again. Food was ok, nothing special at all and it was freezing cold in the cafe area. Do like the shop though.
