"To all our wonderful customers We thank you for your continued support it's amazing. Please note we only take telephone reservations 3-6pm Sunday to Wednesday closed Monday and Tuesday. We don't have high chairs or booster seats and put chair allow inside the restaurant. Let me start with the good! The food is fabulous and the restaurant decor and ambience is second to none. Now the negative! We booked in the day before for a table of 5 at 5pm. We were really excited about going due to the calibre of the restaurant and reviews. On arrival was shown to our table which was clearly a table designed for 4 with another place shoved on the end. The table was positioned in a tight alcove with no room to manoeuvre for the others. I was positioned on the end and felt like a spare part and couldn't even get my knees under the table. We initially asked if there was another table but was informed there wasn't. I could not hide my annoyance to which the staff became aware and offered to swap us to another table set for five. Still the same size table but we had a lot more room around to manoeuvre and was more comfortable but still not ideal. The table we were previously at was then re-set for 2? This did put a damper on the evening unfortunately! Another negative was two of our starters came on chipped plates. When you are paying top dollar for food this is not what you expect. Good job they redeemed themselves with the quality of the food which was fabulous!
We didn’t book a table but luckily it’s not too cold to sit outside yet! Amazing food. We had the prawn for starters and it’s the best in town personal opinion!. Surely would love to visit again ;
Having previously come for dinner on a previous holiday, our return did not disappoint. The Calzone was both delicious and huge. Like seriously, you don't need breakfast after having it for dinner. Although it was not on the menu like before, the chef kindly agreed to make spaghetti Bolognese for my wife which was also excellent. The house red was lovely. The sticky toffee pudding was fab, as was the limoncello cheesecake. Attentive staff, great food, reasonably priced. Best Italian in the lakes by far.
First time visiting was really impressed love Italian food and this did not disappoint. Really good menu only a selective dishes but there was still lots I would of eaten. I had the seafood pasta and is one of the best I have ever had. Really would book again was the perfect evening thankyou.Recommended dishesGarlic Bread, Fillet of Prime Beef
There's a reason the only reservation we could get for 5 people was for 5pm. The food was great, and the service was excellent. The portion size of the lasagne and the seafood linguine was large, but the pork belly was a bit smaller. The desserts were 9/10 - the only thing I wasn't sure about was the Orange Sorbet which didn't really taste of anything.
We went here for our anniversary and didn't disappoint. We sat outside which was under cover and had heaters. The food was amazing and presented really nicely. Great meal and reasonable price.

Oh man, what yummy Italian food! We didnt book a table, but the staff were fun and attentive so we got in and had a good crack on with them. The menu was lush and the food even better. It was nice and warm out, which added to the clean and nature filled aesthetic they had gone for. Honestly felt like we were in a restaurant in Italy by a lake. It was really wonderful.
Visited San Pietro on holiday and it was magnificent. The staff were incredibly attentive and overly kind which I have no problem with. San Pietro offers a wide range of authentic Italian dishes and a plethora of amazing wines. My pizza was great and the rest of my table thoroughly enjoyed their food. The decor was homely and the atmosphere was calming. Overall I would definitely recommend San Pietro to anyone looking for authenticity and just good food. Thank you for your accommodation San Pietro!
I had a modified seabass without ravioli as I've got a milk intolerance, wish it had a sauce of some kind or they'd replaced the other bits somehow, but the fish was cooked perfectly. Olive bread is fluffyFood: 5/5
