It's a 2 star hotel, but I have never stayed in a 2 star hotel, which is as bad as this one. Tiny room, small enough to make anyone feel suffocated, tired looking walls, door and carpet; an even tinier toilet, with a still tinier wash basin!!! One has to lean over the loo, to reach the wash basin...weird! The dim light in the room kept flickering, the TV remote didn't work, the TV signal was horrendous and the list could go on.....Also, it didn't feel very safe, as my room was in the basement, next to some stairs, which led to a sort of broken down terrace like area, where anyone from the street could come in. You get some hand wash, a soap, toilet rolls and a towel. The bed sheets were clean, but wrinkly. The pros are a friendly receptionist called George and the good location. Plus there's a fan in the room, no kettle. The final straw was when the power went off, as I was preparing to leave. Even after half an hour, there was no electricity and so, I asked the manager for help. But they had no back up/ generator or even a torch. I used the torch on my phone, to get dressed etc. It has been a very traumatic experience overall. Best to pay more and stay in a better place.
Got a 3 bed room for 3 nights with 2 friends and really enjoyed our stay. Location is great to take the subway or walk into the city. Room and shared bathroom was clean and the staff was super friendly. Tube station right around the corner and a lot of restaurants and stores in the area. Also really safe neighborhood. Only downsides: room interior was not in the best shape anymore, beds not super comfortable anymore because they are probably a little bit old and the and the shower was either cold or way too hot with low water pressure. But for the really affordable price we got it for, it was absolutely fine. Wouldn't necessarily recommend for people who want a luxurious holiday but if you're in London for a few days on a budget and don't have high expectations this is the place to stay at! Thanks for the nice time!
The only advantage of this hotel is the location. The room I received was inconsistent with the offer I had presented when purchasing it, the room we were accommodated in was about 6 m2, it was stuffy, the window couldn't be opened, it was broken. However, the biggest problem of this hotel are the bedbugs that bit us severely. Despite reporting this fact to the hotel and Agoda, no one responded.
Clean and safe. Really nice staff. Room was tiny but did us fine. Really enjoyed our stay. Oh have to be the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.Rooms: 4/5
Stay was really horrible to say, I came there with my husband and my inlaws who were old. I an 8 months pregnant. It was a three day trip planned and so as we reached there a bit early where the receptionist said we cant check in until the time, that’s alright cause I can understand company policies, but by night when we checked inn , room looked so much congested where in the cupboards we could find two old fans stored. In the toilet there was no hot water and pressure of water from the shower was like pouring from a bottle. On asking the staff they said they cant do anything as all the people in the street were using water at that time. We couldn’t even freshen up after the travel. Bed was completely broken where we didn’t sleep the whole night and my wife had severe back ache laying down on a broken spring mattress. We booked room for two nights but early morning itself we checked out and booked some other hotel. On telling all these things to the receptionist he was not at all sorry and only said he will inform his manager without even offering help. We will nere recommend this place to anyone and this property needs inspection for health and hygiene and poor maintenance. The worst experience I had ever had. Wast of money and time .
Terrible place. Photos are a lie. Would rather sleep outside and be homeless this place is that bad. You are better off spending a little more and getting a nice room. this hotel should be closed down. avoid!Rooms: 1/5
I had a reservation yesterday. When I reached the room. I found a bedbug on the bed and i took a photo for ita after killing it.I called Mr. Goerge from the reception he denied that there is a bedbug and he claimed that my photo from the net. I afraid of my self because this is a dangerous issue. I decided to search for other hotel. Safety: There is a bedbug on the bed
Conveniently located, very nice staff, and the price is okay. But you barely get what you pay for. The room is very small, the shower is only big enough to stand in don’t drop the soap. And the toilet was barely functioning. If you’re looking for a no frills place to sleep near a tube stop then it’s fine but don’t expect to enjoy your time in the hotel room.
Disappointed….. and flee….. Paid 5 nights stay for a quadruple room for my family with 2 kids, booking through Agoda website. My family was very disappointed with this hotel. This is the ONLY hotel that we were disappointed at, after stayed 10 other different hotels/apartment in the last 2 weeks in both England and Scotland. London is our last leg before we depart from UK. Not to ruin our family holiday and we quickly searched and managed to find a family room 5 nights stay at another hotel some 5.2km away. We did not stay at the Hotel Earls Court and we quickly moved to another hotel by our own. No refund from Hotel Earls Court. Regretted that I did not read the reviews on this hotel prior to booking.
Was staying at the hotel for 5 nights in June 2023, very small, dirty and old room. Shower very small and you have to step on the toilet to get out of the shower. Room was extremely hot and fan was not working. Breakfast was literally a slise of toast one day my daughter was served toast that already had jam on think it was someone elses left over Manager very rude. I wont send my worse enemy to go and stay there. Avoid avoid!!! Rooms: Terrible, hot old and dirty Safety: As the room was so hot we slept with the windows open. Next to a very busy street with lots of noice.
