Okay place to stay for a sleepover with uncomfortable beds! The location is second to none though. Staff is very polite and check in/out went like a breeze. Again, it's you get what you pay. Probably not a 3 star hotel but okay. No breakfast or any leisure bar but good backyard garden. Bathroom is nice. Very small room but equipped with a safe and kettle. I stayed only 1 night.
A very well located hotel within minutes from the underground and on a beautiful street. The room itself was quirky and comfortable, especially with the ceiling fan and the added extra toiletries. However, it was dusty, the tea set was missing a cup and clean glasses, there was a kettle base but no kettle and no tea/coffee but sugar. There was also a dead bird right outside the window which was pretty grim.
Great location! Very close to to Earl‘s Court tube Station and various bus stops. The area is also not very noisy, we slept with open windows every night. Our room was available before check in time and the staff were all very friendly! The room was also great, good size for London, especially the bathroom.
The hotel was very well located but that was it! It was dusty and the rooms were not clean. We found cigarette buds and lighters under the bed. We were made to move twice because there was no water in the first two rooms. Then we had a room with no hot water and we’re given keys to a room to go shower which was like a storage and had a used toilet brush in the sink. Just bad experience overall!
On the outside and reception looks like a lovey hotels. But first impressions don't last!! Once inside very pokey corridors and room. Four poster bed with no canopy, the tea making facilities are above waist height, not good for someone with limited arm movement. Thet did not replenish these so called reception who told me to come and collect, not the service I would expect. The TV was in the corner so the post of the bed obstruct view. No breakfast available apparently they stopped this in 2020. The toilet was too narrow for my husband to fit comfortably, and very out dated decor, no plug for the sink.
Not too bad and not noisy like some reviews may suggest. Perfect location, but the room was worn down and the shower pressure was absolutely abysmal, to the point that it took you several minutes to wash off the soap in your hair; the sink had way better pressure. The staff were nice though.
The bed was far too firm for my liking, but not the end of the world. The big issue was that I specifically made sure to book a hotel with in-room WiFi, but it did not work at all. The staff told me “too bad, you can leave early if you want, or work in the dining area,” but even there the WiFi was too spotty for my work meetings. There was also some construction going on, which is posted at the hotel, but I wasn't aware of before checking in, and if I had known, I wouldn't have booked here. Honestly could not recommend this place less.
The picture of the guest information book sums up the hotel pretty well. It's old, dusty and not in the best condition. The bed is making noices with every movement, the kettle is dirty and disgusting, lots of dust everywhere, the lightning in the bathroom is quite bad and dark. Rooms: Small, dusty, squeaky bed, 4 instant coffee bags for a 5 day stay for 2 people is very little and were not refilled during cleaning. The kettle was extremely calcified. Walkability: Metrostation Earl's Court is really close.
Terrible rooms. The space around the beds was too small to move. Bed and furniture was old and worn out. In the bathroom the tap was to short and the water did not reach the sink flooding everything. At night you could hear some pump noises making it impossible to sleepRooms: 1/5
We stopped at this hotel on the 2nd of March to the 6th of March 2018. This was our second visit here as the location to the tube station at Earl’s Court was very close by as was plenty of places to eat. The reason for our visit to London was for my 50th birthday .On the 4th day of our stay at the hotel it was evacuated as there was carbon monoxide poisoning. My wife and myself were rushed by police car with sirens and lights to CHelsea and Westminster hospital were we had to give blood to determine the carbon monoxide levels in our blood, the were higher than normal. We were very lucky as sadly in the room adjacent to ours in the hotel a young man lost his life and his travel companion to my knowledge is still very poorly. The hotel lacked basic carbon monoxide detectors which would have saved this poor mans life. This hotel should be closed and the management prosecuted for negligence. Do not at all costs book this hotel. My deepest sympathies to the family of Marcos Cevera.
