After seeing so many rave reviews for The Dusty Knuckle, it may have always been doomed to disappoint. . . . And, unfortunately that was the case.nnVery popular with ”cool” people, the quickest I’ve managed to get served was 20 minutes 40 minutes the slowest. Which I could tolerate for exceptional pastries but sadly, they just weren’t that great.nnEverything I had was good but I found all of them to be a bit too sweet and the morning bun was also a little greasy at the base. The sticky bun was good though, tasty but messy, spilling raisins galore. The apple turnover, more disappointing, thin pastry, too sweet and with a little too much spice in the filling, not much apple flavour.nnIt is a really good bakery, just not up there with the best and not worth the queue.
Perhaps the best sour dough bread in London. Cinnamon roles to die for. Quirky place that sits down alley yet has a very loyal following. Bacon sandwich was just right. I loved the place and will be back.
Fantastic bakery! Had the green bean, tomato and whipped feta sarnie which was delicious.nnThe fruit pastry was also brilliant.nnDue to its popularity it does sell out early of certain products which is the only down side
Really liked this place - very good croissant and excellent sandwiches. I got a pork sandwich, it was Asian style so came was full of interesting flavours and the pickled carrots etc balanced the pork nicely. I would say the sandwich is on the expensive side compared to other places which is why I didn’t rate it 5 stars
A bakery in what is basically a service yard never felt so good. I went there for breakfast, and at 8am it was alive with staff making such delicious baked goods. I had a Feta, Honey & Fennel Seed Swirl, which was amazing! Don’t go to Pret, go here. You will not be disappointed!
