Sometimes the coffee here is great, nice latte art, chocolate on top, good foam and tastes great - and sometimes it looks like someone just couldn’t be bothered. Annoying, especially as they charge £4.50 for an oat cappuccino.
I am writing to praise the management and hospitality at Gails' Blackheath. My fiance and I called in with a special request and Kat, the manager, went way out of her way to accommodate our complicated order. She professionally and warmly made sure that a special box of delicious little cakes got to a friend. Her attention and care to our order showed a high level of service. Also, I love the San Francisco sourdough at GAIL's and just the general feeling there. Highly recommended.
Received a burnt and rock hard almond croissant on 6 May through Deliveroo from Gail’s Blackheath. It’s absolutely horrendous, seems that it has been baked twice, definitely not fresh.
Nice range of bakery items which are delicious. Choc almond croissant was amazing. The coffee is good especially the dark Mocha. Acoustics aren’t great so it can be quite loud inside and hard to talk. Service is alright and varies especially if they are busy. Overall a good option but I avoid peak times
I always love coming here for a brunch. Such a great selection of sweet / savory pastries. Very nice coffee as well. Been here many times, love it.nnIf you're driving in. There is no place to park your car in the nearby streets except on a Sunday. It may become too busy to park as well on Sunday so be aware. It's just across Blackheath Station anyway so you have alternative.
