I’ve visited this branch multiple times and absolutely love their weekday lunch menu. The soup paired with sourdough is consistently delicious and comforting.nnOn weekends, I’d recommend trying their special Danish; it’s always a treat. Their flan is also excellent: rich and creamy with a perfectly baked pastry base.nnJust one more thing, come as early as you can as goods sold out quickly.
Best bakery in London is quite a label to hold.nI'm not sure it's the best, but it's certainly very close.nThey don't have as much variety and complexity as to what Dominique Ansel pre-covid or Cedric Grolet offer, so it's not best in that sense, it's not haute patisserie, but rather the classics with added twists.nThey really are worth trying.nThere are queues for a reason.nAnd yes, if you're late, it might be all sold out, that's how good this place is.
This place is quite famous and happens to be close to my office. Really lovely environment with both indoor and outdoor seating — you can choose whatever you feel like! Their pastries are exceptional and huge! This is exactly what we all look for when it comes to delicious pastries, isn’t it?nnThis is my second visit, and after checking the reviews, I decided to try the Bacon & Maple one since it seemed quite popular — and yes, it was absolutely delicious! The pastry was crispy yet moist from the maple syrup, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced with the bacon, which wasn’t too salty either. The sweet-and-savoury combo just made me keep eating!nnThe croissant was also really good — fluffy and buttery — and the flan had a unique flavour, maybe dark sugar or malt? They also offer unlimited water, which is great for people like me who don’t drink coffee or tea. Definitely recommended, and I’ll be back again soon!
The place has a really nice vibe and the service was very good. The highlight of the visit was definitely the pastry. We had the maple and bacon swirl and it was out of this world! The best pastry I’ve ever had. Definitely recommend getting it warmed up as well. The coffee was also very good. Will definitely come back :
Highly recommend Pophams! I came here on my travels looking to try pastries in the UK and this was definitely the top place. We had the maple and bacon pastry. Was delicious, temperature was perfect, and was baked so well. Service was very friendly and really enjoyed the atmosphere as it was a chill and relaxing vibe. I also really liked how their menu showed which were vegan, and had nuts in it.
