We had a lovely meal. My favourite was the veal nice and flavoursome, Megan’s favourite was the sweetcorn pasta sweet and creamy. Presentation was spot on, the bread was perfect and great to wipe up the sauce. The Gorgonzola and apricot jam pastry was a lovely snack to have with wine - it was a combination I hadn’t paired together before so was fun to try. The seats had a great view, so fun to watch the pasta being made! The staff were knowledgeable and very willing to help. Temuka sorry if spelt incorrectly was lovely and some great recommendations. Sad that it’s closing but glad we got to try
I was already a fan of the bakery there is one nearby Angel too but discovering the dinner menu was a really unexpected surprise! The combination of flavours is very refined and works like magic, for example the basil sauce is in the Eton mess... so yummy! Also all ingredients I assume the pasta is made by them too were fresh and enjoyable. Service was very polite and friendly and the atmosphere was also nice. Definitely worth a visit!
Popped in to pick up coffee and pastry on a Sunday morning.nThe room was busy with warm lightning and smell of baked goods in the air.nOutside seating available.nCoffee and pastry cost me £10.20
Visited on a Sunday morning and it was clearly a local favorite with a short wait in line. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating.nWe ordered the hazelnut chocolate gianduja and ham & cheese croissant, both are well presented love the plate! with a crispy outer layer. While inside can be more layered, the flavors were satisfying.nThe industrial style interior gives the space a simple feel yet the it is a bit cramped during peak hours.
Thursday 21st August 11.30amnBoth my friend and I visited Pophams for the first time today.nFirst of all, a thank you to the employees. All were polite and helpful. Serving with a smile & interacted well.nWe had a pick several pastries. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the honey and sea salt pastry. Whilst I enjoyed the cardamom bun. And what a mighty croissant.nI wasn't too fond of my tea. But I like the style the tea was served in.nnThanks
