Came for the salt beef bagel and were not disappointed!nnThe line moved quickly, and it’s worth it just to witness the operation of this historical place!nnThe salt beef bagel is a must. The bagel is fresh, chewy, and flavourful, the salt beef pairs perfectly with the mustard and pickles. And it’s extremely affordable for what you get!nnFor anyone unsure of salt beef, I’ve had some of the best corned beef, pastrami, and Montreal smoked meat from across the land and this was some of the best cured meat I’ve eaten! You have to try!
Saw the rave about this bagel shop and decided to give it a try on our way to the flower market, and thought it was a very decent meal!nn got the chicken one this time around, and my wife actually liked it because she doesn’t like too much sauces on her bagels - it was a little dry for me, but it’s still good.nn chocolate croissant was good too, pretty big in size and is decently flavoured as wellnnWhile both of them are cold, which is the only setback, it’s very affordable and good in its own - will be back if we can!
Visited this place as a part of a food tour. The corned beef was amazing. Best bite of the day. The bagel is also good- I have others that I like better, but it was soft enough to be a sandwich bun and was a nice chewy texture. And the spicy mustard- I’d like to take that home! Perfect!!
I have read so many 5 star reviews of their salt beef bagels but I have to say I was very disappointed. The salt beef was dry in my bagel and Borough Market has better salt beef bagel than them!nnI will go back to Borough Market next time. :
I had a salty beef bagel with pickles.nIt was outstanding and very tasty.nThe beef was really tendered and normally I wouldn’t like pickles but they blended very well with the beef!nBagel was nice too!nHowever I think the price for one bagel is too expensive.
