First time Visiting Cavendish Arms and it was absolutely wonderful. Food was amazing, I had the Vegetable Lasagna. It was delicious, it was homemade and arrived with garlic bread on the side. I ordered some chips as a side dish, they were really nice too. My partner ordered the cod and chips and they really enjoyed it. All the staff were really friendly especially our waitress. The atmosphere and surroundings were really lovely, I especially loved the log burner, it looks great and smelt nice too. The toilets were spotless. Will 100% visit again and will bring the rest of the family next time.
We have just had Sunday lunch here and it was excellent. We had roast beef, but lamb shank and pork are also available as well as the everyday menu. Great food and beer so we will definitely be going back.
We visited the Cavendish on a Saturday lunch. Pub was cosy and warm with the real fire. Myself and husband both ordered the rib eye steak, which were excellent quality and a good taste. My husband finished off with a Bakewell tart with custard. I wish I had ordered pudding as well. Friendly bar staff. We will return soon.
Had family visit me today 16th April 2023 in Doveridge, and booked Sunday Lunch at the Cavendish . Fantastic service, lovely food and great atmosphere. No issues whatsoever, highly recommended.
Visited one evening whilst a group of 4 of us were in the area. Clean, lovely food and friendly staff. Would definitely return!
Nice clean welcoming village pub, friendly staff and good selection of beers and drinks, not eaten there but the food looked good as it came past.

Lovely location, ample parking, excellent food and a lovely young couple working hard in the restoration business. After lunch there is a nearby walking path you can take to help burn off some calories. We were meeting friends from Leicester while we were in Knutsford so this was the halfway point. Very happy we came.
I like this pub. Dog friendly, great selection of beers, and not being treated like there are antlers or horns protruding from my forehead, as an "outsider" I often feel this is the case of other venues by either local clientele, nor staff. So three big factors ticked in my book. I will soon, likely as not be sampling the food fairly shortly also, because I see and hear good things. Thank you.
