My family and I stopped in this pub on our way home from a weekend away, six of us, and although they were fully booked they rearranged things so they could fit us in, the land lady was very welcoming, catered very well for all of us. The food was really lovely and the clientele were really friendly. I will definitely go back if we visit again. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for accommodating us. Food & drinks: High class
We called in for drink and food after it was highly recommended by a local man. The staff were very helpful and friendly. My husband enjoyed his sausage and mash, I personally wouldn't recommend the fish and chips.
Although it was busy, the staff were all very friendly and attentive. Our meals were all very tasty, served piping hot and good value. Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming. Just what we wanted.
Fantastic vibe, home cooked fresh food and large portions plus real ales! The fish and chips are very generous and the bean chilli with rice, nachos, sour cream and guacamole is delicious. Italian dishes authentic x Food & drinks: Generous food, hot and tasty
Love this place; a regular haunt whilst waiting for a Take Away. However, £12.15 for 1 1/2 pints of Wainwright’s £8.10/pint & £4.05/half; then, £6.35 for a half-pint of Special Christmas beer … ouch!
We came here for food after a walk and it didnt disappoint, very tasty and a great portion size so definitely a great choice. Also dog friendly!
Really nice family / dog friendly pub went here for lunch all the food is homemade had the burger which was homemade which came with bacon cheese salad onion rings and rustic chips kids had scampi bites with chips and beans staff were nice , pub nicely decorated throughout which was clean and modern with good music on , would recommend & go back

Had a superb lunch here today. Well cooked, generous portions, good specials board. Will definitely go again
