Excellent food in a quiet village location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good value for money. Only drawback is the size of the car park which means you may have to park on the roadside. But that doesn't detract from the visit.Rooms: 5/5
I came to the Crown for a festive lunch with my family, a warm cosy pub atmosphere welcomed us. Our three course lunch was just right, enough food but not so much that it left you bloated. On this Wednesday afternoon it was not busy but there were enough customers to create a pleasant experience for us. Marston Montgomery is a bit off the beaten track but I think it was worth the effort to get here. Average price for good traditional fare, I can recommend The Crown Inn. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as I enjoyed mine.
Family of 15 catered for. Excellent service Fantastic food. Would definitely recommend the Sunday roast dinner. Very full of flavour not bland like most pub chain dinners. 10/10.Service: 5/5
We went for a family meal on Saturday. The meal was really disappointing, long wait times, very small portion of pie. The chips were undercooked BUT the gravy that came with the meal was a very small amount in a jug that had obviously been used previously, given the state of the drips. It was changed and a fresh one bought out when I asked. It was a busy evening but not overly so, when I said I was disappointed in the meal I was told to speak to the bar. The whole experience puts us off going again.
Lovely friendly staff and atmosphere by the bucket loads. Food was good and nicely presented. There looked to be a good selection of beers Resaurant area very nicely done out and not too crowded. Will be back for sure.Service: 5/5
Didn't have an overnight stay, so couldn’t rate rooms. But bar and dining areas were clean and well presented. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant throughout the visit. Food order was swift and organised well, and drinks came quickly after ordering, while the food followed in a timely manner. The quality of the meal was good, and I would recommend it to anyone for a meal out. The only issue with the crown inn is nothing to do with the inn itself but more access to it. It resides in a loverly village surrounded by farmland, which has a narrow road network leading to it, making it a little awkward when you are confronted by oncoming vehicles in my case, a tractor.
We came for a meal on Saturday night as a family and we were all impressed with the quick service and lovely food. There was a lovely atmosphere in general and we were seated in a lovely cosy area. We all cam away very full after enjoying the delicious food. We are not local but if we happen to be in the area again we will definitely call in. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Sensational potato and leek soup! And large portions for sandwiches and paninis. Busy and lively energy, and attentive staff. Friendly patrons, and more importantly, dog friendly!
It was a snap decision to try somewhere different for a meal. The location and pub are attractive, the food was very good and the staff very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Yes, we intend to visit again.Service: 5/5
