"Meet, eat, drink and chat with family and friends at The Bridge Inn in Duffield, a village pub right on the River Derwent. Relax with a drink in the bar and eat there. Or step over to the dining area with a proper pub meal. Our steaks and grills are super tender and full of flavour. We love pub classics and modern British meals as well. And our roast? It'll be the highlight of your Sunday!"

Food here was very nice, especially the chips. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. Good seating outside for pets and children. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly outside area.
This pub is very nice & clean. The young girl behind the bar was really nice and polite. Food was good. Parking: 3 Disabled spaces. Right at the door of the pub. And lots of other parking spaces to. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible for chairs and walking frames.
This place seems to have gone downhill. The venue itself is lovely, next to the river although you couldn't see the river because the bushes were so overgrown! The food wasn't up to much. The starters came out fine but when the main came we had no cutlery, so had to ask for some. The waiter handed it over with his hands all over them and then I had to ask for a steak knife. The steak was tough and chewy. The staff were friendly but looked scruffy in just t shirts, jeans and trainers. They would look so much more professional in a uniform of some sort. I wouldn't recommend it for food unfortunately. Too pricey for the standard of food.
Food is good, your normal British fare. Service is your normal British attitude. They do have a nice outside space.Food: 4/5
I’d booked the wrong day but the staff were very accommodating and fitted us in. Excellent choice of food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Food was lovely. In the words of my husband, “best fish & chips I’ve had in a long while” !! We will be revisiting. Parking: Plenty of free parking available.
I celebrated my 60th birthday here last night and we all had a fantastic time. The staff were all amazing so friendly and professional. Nothing was too much of a problem. The food was amazing, none of us had a bad meal, it was all delicious. We're even talking about booking for Christmas dinner here!! The belly pork was amazing!!!! I highly recommend this place, it's the best pub/restaurant I've been to in years or maybe even ever! 10/10 and lots of big, fat gold stars for all the staff!!! Parking: There's a decent sized car park, very easy to get into. Wheelchair accessibility: One of our party uses a wheelchair and we had no problems getting them in there and the staff made sure there were no problems getting us situated.
Good Marsdens pub on the outskirts of Duffield, easy to walk. Real ale good. Food likes lovely but have yet to try.Food: 5/5
Great place! The atmosphere was busy and social, but you were still able to have a conversation easily. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu/drinks. Nothing was too much to ask, even though it was busy. They went above and beyond to cater to all needs including providing a large range of gluten free options. The food was lovely and prepared well. Will definitely be returning in future. Dietary restrictions: Specific gluten free menu available.
Lunchtime Today The Bridge Inn, love the location it has a nice decor and a spacious riverside patio. The food was delicious and those that love their Steak Blue will be pleased to know the Chef pulls it off perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive. We had the Baked Cambert to share as a starter and the sprig of Rosemary gave it a hint of fragrant flavor very nice start to the meal. Tom and I had the Surf and Turf though I subbed Sweat Potato Fries the Steak was great and loved the Crispy Fried King Prawns the accompanying Chimichuri sauce was a little bland compared to others I've had didn't taste Evan a hint of Garlic. Mum went for the Gluten-free Royale Chicken Tikka Masala which she thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, Mum went with the GF Sticky Toffee Pudding and I had the Dark Chocolate Delice which was Topped with Popcorn both were excellent. They have a Lunch/ Early Dinner Deal of 2 courses at £15 or 3 courses at £17.50. Highly recommend a visit.
Great service and only a short wait for food. The food itself is a good, fair price and amazing. Went back the next day due to being so good.Food: 5/5
