Story

Graham, Janette and all the staff would like to welcome you to the Five Lamps. We pride ourselves in our range of fourteen traditional Real ales, which we select from Buxton, Whim, Peak and Burton breweries and many more from around Derbyshire. Visit our Real Ales page to see what delights are on or are coming soon. We thrive to impress you.

We are situated within the suburbs of Derby, on the A6 about a quarter of a mile outside of the inner ring road and Cathedral Quarter.

We ate tonight the evening menu is superb, we had lamb rump.cooked to perfection!! This place is much improved since we last came 3 years ago. The food is on another level. We will be back SOON, with friends superb tell Chunky thanks. Bar staff very friendly.
Very good selection of ales, really friendly and helpful staff, great looking cosy pub, and very popular.
Meandered in for a spot of lunch today. Very impressed with the layout. Scampi was great young bar staff were friendly also. Nice feel to pub may have to pop in for the evening menu one day soon. Left feeling full and impressed
Steak was superb. Sauce was special! Compliments to the kitchen. Great staff eat out to help out well worth it, ill be back again, more than happy paying full price. Thankyou
Came in today for a spot of lunch, I had the gammon which was delicious and my fella had a ciabatta and added chips, I must say todays was so much better than Mondays when we came in so we thought we would give it another go and were not disappointed. The chef was friendly too which is always nice.

Fantastic pub, great selection of ales. The new menu is brilliant and takes me back to terroir bistro where we frequently visited for your new chefs food. We had guinea fowl and pork belly was for the husband. Desserts were gorgeous too, great pint of jaipur too. We will be back.
