Second visit to this fantastic pub/restaurant. Onion soup this time and like the minestrone it was exceptional. I followed this up with the kebab main. Really recommend this place and I can't wait to visit again. Friend had a prawn starter followed by pies. He agreed the food and service was fantastic.
This hidden gem of a public housing is just a stone's throw from town. Super staff and quality food. Real ale lovers paradise. Recommend booking regardless of what day it is.
Good food, good beer, good staff. Wonderful pub with a decent clientele
What a place to enjoy a drink and the food is just fabulous! Not to leave behind the so helpful and friendly staff. Definetly my favourite place to come back when in Derby again.

A great quirky multi-roomed pub that is now owned by Dancing Duck Brewery and sells their superb cask beers. The food is also excellent quality picture shows the Derbyshire Tapas if a little pricey the meal in the picture was £15. Highly recommended.
Really great little pub. Fabulous food... Freshly made scotched eggs! Soft shell crab started was delicious! The service was exemplary, helpful, kind, the right level of chat and business. Big fan and will be back soon!
They've recently updated their menu and it's absolutely amazing! They've added a new range of gorgeous freshly made burgers that you can have skinny – sans bread and chips – so nicely low carb. Reserving a table well ahead is strongly recommended.
The Exeter Arms is a great real ale pub with a wide range of ales and friendly staff to help you choose. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting and I was delighted that the pub was both dog friendly and had alcohol free choices for the driver. Definitely will be returning!
Nice place to drink and eat. Lovely staff. Clean bathroom facilities. Only Fownhope is piped through music can be a little noisy at times for people struggling to hear conversations. We were informed Staff couldn't isolate a speaker to turn off music as system was all linked, but they did turn it down to accommodate our hard of hearing party.
