The best Witherspoon pub in Derby, so drinks are cheap. However! Drink selection nowhere near as good or substantial as it used to be. Therefore! There are better places for drinking in Derby, such as and in no particular order Flowerpot, Alex and Brunswick.
Lovely building and friendly staff, obviously cheap menu and alot of guest ales on for a wetherspoon. However I did find one to be off so they may want to keep a closer eye on how the ale is kept? It was also hot in there but didn't affect the visit too much as it was a quick stop off.
A bargain using rishi's eat out scheme. Easy using the app for all food and drink. Food was all as expected and delivered to the table quickly and politely. No complaints. The sirloin steak was very tasty and well cooked.
Lovely old building...part of Derby history.. lovely high ceilings.. very well run by welcoming and friendly team.. always a good choice of beers..App is a breeze to use an efficient. Food is tasty and well presented.
Felt very safe - this may have been due to it being lunchtime. The food was good and the service was efficient and friendly. Thank you.
What a place like a palace. Huge space for big parties or gatherings. A lot of variety in cask & draughts. Food is great as wel as service. Staff is efficient n helpful. Visit from London but made me feel so happy. Love to visit it again
