Im givin this 5 stars, for a multitude of reasons, not gonna list them all, but its a great place to stay, very peaceful even though it is a popular street close to the city centre. The rooms are kept clean and staff are very pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable of the local area if you need directions anywhere :

Never actually got to stay. Anyone with future travel plans to Glasgow, stay away from The Alfred Hotel. Apparently an international travel ban is no excuse and reason to get a refund. You'd possibly think that in extraordinary times like these changes in the way transactions might be warranted but I guess not here.
