Firstly, for context, this is a 2-star hotel. I expect a comfortable bed, and a decent shower. I definitely got those, but the room Room 1 was very cold. Cold to the point that I couldn’t sleep properly. Reminded me of my student rooms in the early 80s. Staff were very friendly and did their best to help by providing an extra duvet, but really that room isn’t suitable for winter use. The bathroom is also extremely cold as there is no radiator to warm it up, and the ventilator sucks any warm air out of it when you use it. The common areas aren’t particularly pleasant. The carpets are stained and dirty, and the narrow corridors are strewn with dirty linen in the morning as the cleaners do their job. The rooms are kept clean, but there was a strong smell of disinfectant when I checked in. Internet was very flaky. Impossible to do any work. Breakfast was acceptable. Instant coffee, cereal and toast, but nothing special. Again, it’s a 2-star hotel. It’s very well located for Kings Cross and St Pancras stations, the staff are very friendly and helpful, but it’s really only suitable for a one-night stay.
Good location, acceptable price but wouldn’t pay anymore. Friendly staff and comfortable bed and room overall. Good room amenities. Downside is that the shower rooms have mould issues and the hall ways/carpets are stained which makes it seem dirty. It’s very noisy from traffic and trains until very late but then quietens down through the night.
I stayed with my boyfriend on 15th January 23. Service at the front desk: Exceptional! The gentleman was kind, informative and considerate. Nothing was too much trouble and helped me into the lift. There is a gym where you get free water, towel and a piece of fruit for free which I thought was a great touch. There is also a really love garden which is unusual for a city hotel. There is a continental for 6.50 very reasonable. Decor: Modern and stylish! It was very clean and i feel the room had been newly refurbished. Complimentary biscuits water and hot drink sachets in the room! There is also a smart TV with prime etc! Complimentary toileteries.. Extremely happy with my stay and recommend this hotel 5/5 and fantastic price.
Service was great. Reception could not be more helpful and friendly. Room looked nice and was clean, but the great part is central location and the great garden they have. Sat out at night with some food and a couple of drinks. We would visit again.Rooms: 4/5
Stayed there last year when we visited London. Very warm welcome at reception. Bed was firm and rooms were old but well maintained. Very worth the price.
The staff were very helpful and efficient; and the hotel is a ten minute from King's Cross and St. Pancras stations. Unfortunately the premises could do with some attention to bring them up to standard: faulty lock on room door security snub missing, large gap under door, tatty paintwork in bathroom; and very thin walls allowing sound to come through from adjacent rooms. Pricing reasonable for central London.
Loved it! We stayed at this hotel for only one night and yet it was perfect! Super easy to find and super close to the railway station, the receptionists are really nice and easy to reach for any questions or request!Rooms: 4/5
I stayed here for 4 nights. It’s a wonderful experience! Although the room is small but clean and bright. I would like to thank Mr Mizan for helping me to settled my SIM card problem when I was check in on the first day. Mr Mizan and Yas always with a big smile on their face, they are very friendly, patient, helpful and polite.thanks for their great service.
Great value for money, the location is perfect and staff was friendly and helpful. The room we stayed at was a bit small for two people, but it was clean and as good as it gets for the price and location.Rooms: 4/5
