Cheap hotel in London. Checking in was awkward with printed notices all over the place. Not clear which were important to read. Public areas are a bit dated. The room was small, as you would expect for London, it was very clean and presentable. The shower leaked and was otherwise passable. The water at the sink was very low flow for some reason. I would return.
Rooms very old and dated. Not the cleanest of rooms. No shower wash although there was soap the basin. Very thin pillows no options for more. Could do with a lick of paint at least. Was ideal for what I wanted. Would not visit againRooms: 2/5
Exceptional service from the staff and an unbeatable location right by King's Cross station. The rooms have just been re-done, and although a tad bit on the small size, for a solo traveller or even a couple, its perfect. The cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom was immaculate and there was a downstairs kitchen i was told i was welcome to use if i needed. I would highly recommend this place and as a frequent visitor of London, I for sure will be returning to The Arriva Hotel.
A very small, basic double room - room is in DIRE need of AC, window only opened a few centimetres at most and fan was blowing dust/hot air which wasn’t didn’t help at all - very very stuffy. Bathroom also small. You get what you paid for - receptionist on day of check in was very nice though.Rooms: 2/5
This has to be the worst hotel I have ever been in, mold in the bathrooms, beds which only consists of springs, dirty rooms, and with the most noisy environment. Hotel floors creak, personal start yelling early in the morning, and windows so thin that the adjacent road seems to run right trough your room. We complained with the clerk at the counter, but he played dumb and acted like he couldn’t understand basic English. There also was no manager available, and contacting the manager also wasn’t a possibility. This hotel is in all ways a scam.
We stayed here when we came down to London for my graduation. We wanted a hotel that was near to the train station so we were not walking too far with luggage. The location of this hotel is great, very accessible to the station and tube. There are lots of hotels around the area, but we picked this one for the price. The staff were friendly very helpful. You can see why it is a 2 star hotel but if you only need a room within the area to stay for the night, then you can't go wrong Rooms: The rooms are very basic. We were upstairs and my family was downstairs. The upstairs room was definitely more outdated than the downstairs, and now as renovated. My parents room had a fresh/newer coat of paint. The rooms do the job of having a bed which the beds were very comfortable in my opinion. I had a good sleep whilst here, just a shame the pillow is very flat and you only get one Walkability: This is a short walk from kings cross and st pancreas, very good location Food & drinks: There's lots of restaurants nearby for food
Basic but value for money hotel in a very convenient location. Check in was easy and the room had everything needed. Will happily stay again.Rooms: 5/5
The location and staff are lovely. The rooms are tiny, the double room was so small and had a lamp where I was sleeping. So kept waking up to a lamp on my head. The draconian rules are too much. So many extra charges hidden it's unreal. The place needs an update for sure even the tv remote didn't work...Rooms: 1/5
Stayed here just one night before we went to get the Eurostar for Paris. Nice and quiet, plenty of nice pubs within the area which was nice. Comfortable rooms. Rooms: Clean and spacious. Nearby activities: Plenty of pubs. Safety: Felt safe throughout my stay. Walkability: Up the road from St Pancras and Kings Cross Stations.
Great location. Price is reasonable. Room a tad small. But a warm room with no openable windows. Rooms: Quite a small room, warm and not well ventilated.
