I've said how nice Norf londonders are in another review but rhe ones who go here are really quite arrogant and stuck up. Kids seem to wanna destroy the park by throwing rocks into the duck pond as their parents look on and speaking to the local Cllr who runs it, he just shrugged. The cafe is run by lovely people, at the bottom of the hill, thank goodness for them. I'm sure kids love the park. I'm probably just grumpy but yeah, better parks around.
Lovely little Park hidden quite well at the back of crouch end. We found this park totally by chance so it has become our regular little visit after school as most of the time it is nice and quite allowing the kids to get some excess energy out with plenty of activities around while you can sit down and relax with some piece and quite
Beautiful little park bursting with wildlife around the little pond. I’d recommend coming here within school hours.
My goto place on a sunny day like today! Has a small cafe too for some fresh baked cakes and coffee! Quite and peacefully! I usually sit here for hours, reading, watching and observing! Very distant not many people and better than visiting bigger parks! A bench at the park has become my work station where I read, write, spend time on my phone They have some play area for kids and a little pond too. People also get their dogs for walk and you will often spot people, friends or family taking a stroll and enjoying the sun! A nice picnic spot too if you are looking for some peace and beautiful time with friends n family!
We now live in Finland and we were visiting family after five years and we are disappointed with what we have come across. Drug smoking in the park during the day when kids are in school/in the park. The dog walkers do not listen to the rule that the play side is a DOG FREE area and is not on leash! The parents do not shut the gates behind themselves when entering or leaving the infant play area. The location/area has lost its quality. Rubbish everywhere, no respect for the elderly. Most whom are doing this is the locals themselves or their upcoming generation/children and not from the outside. If the mentality of the locals does not change, the area will attract more unsocial behaviour and it will just get worse. Sad to see what we have come across.
Exceptional playground for young toddlers and older kids. Large wooden castle for older kids to explore with two great long metal slides. Lots of seating and shade.
Great place to bring your little ones or have your other half look after them while you can have a rest and enjoy yourself with great choice of refreshments and tasty snacks in a lovely cafe inside.
The playground is okay for younger children although many things do have graffiti or pen markings, The swings are broken it's an alright spot to hang out for picnics as benches are around, dog friendly.
I love this park. It is small but lots of interesting things, especially the ducks. The play equipment for little children is quite good. The larger play section has some fenced off areas. I like the cafe.
An unorthodox kind of park situated between two residential roads on a slope. Lovely place to take the children or sit for lunch. Adventure Playground and basketball court available.
