Easy to reach as Highgate Underground station is within yards, this forestlike green area will make you forget that you are even in London. Delightful thick wooded area with many different walking options. Just to the north of Highgate cemetery.

Its Highgate Wood i walked through but Queens wood borders it its a nice place to go walking years ago it used to be used by the Railway.
