Nice, quiet park. Spacious with something for everyone
This is a nice and quite varied little park which offers open space for football, tennis courts, a woodland area and even a rose garden. It's a great place to walk your dog or simply enjoy a stroll in the sunshine. You can also continue on to the Lordship Recreation Ground if you really want to stretch your legs.
lovely park, nice playgrounds that are ideal for pre teens and young children. lots of open space to run around. tennis courts/basketball court/table tennis court. cafe is usually open however prices are higher than usual. toilets available to those who purchase from cafe. “natural pond” area poses dangers would not recommend visiting the natural pond its fenced off with a lockable gate. leads onto another lovely park lordship rec and is overall a nice short walk for family. rose gardens are lovely or the woods walk is lovely also. would definitely recommend to families with younger children or dogs Playground: small yet fun, ideal for younger children Restrooms: only available to those who pay at cafe. accessible Dog-friendliness: lots of walking paths and open space, lots of other dogs too
Excellent local park, with something for everyone - lovely rose garden, wooded area, large sports field, free tennis couts and a friendly cafe to hang out. Also a great variety of large trees to admire. Picnic area: Great for picnics and gatherings near the cafe.
Nice and green place. Clean in general. Quite popular and because of that often crowded. However thanks to massive space you still can have your own piece of green. There is no problem with distance either. Obviously the better weather the more people coming. Late evening, or even night, it's also nice place to visit.
Very nice, clean, and big park. Dogs are allowed. The cafeteria is also very nice with good prices.
Nice plays for the boys to go and play football while the women sit back and sunbathe. Also nice views when the sun sets. Large area for people to bring dogs, which they all seem to love.
Great park for various activities and picnic. My son is always having fun in the children play ground.
A very vibrant and friendly family park with places for kids to play, basketball, football, tennis, etc. There is also a well maintained garden which is good for relaxation and enjoyment.
We had a great time today enjoying the lovely weather at the park. The roses and lavender were in bloom.
