Small but very beautiful. It has some crabapple trees, blackthorn, black berries etc But I tend to see people smoking weeds especially near the entrance area
A wonderful park and place marred by drug addicts who group close to the entrance next to Finsbury park tube. They use drugs, litter the area, pee on the stairs and take the purses and bags they steal to the area to divide between them and buy more drugs. It makes the place unsafe and feels like the park is falling into disregard.
Incredible little paradise hidden away, nestled up to the train tracks in Finsbury Park. Its like a secret garden full of meadows and woodland...just careful of anyone hidden inside the Finsbury Park entrance doing drugs. Restrooms: Find the Ecology Centre and you'll find the loos
A stunning nature reserve in the heart of Islington, North London offering a welcome reprieve from inner city living. Lots of wildlife, nature trails, teaching gardens, an abundance of wild flowers, birdlife, insects, ponds and trees.
A nature reserve on a narrow strip of land adjoining the railway tracks out of King's Cross. It can be entered from the west end Gillespie Road, and there is a path through it which emerges opposite Finsbury Park station.
Looked like the main part of the park was closed and not maintained, but finding a nature-full path next to this park going through to Finsbury Park beside the train tracks was a delight.
Wilded park near Arsenal, lovely little ecology centre, for central london a reasonable amount of wildlife to see with the kids. We held an outdoor bushcraft birthday party here and was great doing tug-of-war, bow and arrow making, shelter building and party, all outdoors.
This site is a little natural gem, nestled in the heart of busy London. Small but mighty, it hosts ponds, trees, wildlife and social gatherings - well done Islington and co. for keeping it going! Dog-friendliness: There's a small dog area. Picnic area: You can always enjoy your lunch in a quiet space somewhere around the site.
Nice area to walk through from Drayton Park to Finsbury Park. Very peaceful and my daughter particularly likes the pond area for spotting various wildlife. Great fun for children and a nice way to avoid traffic and enjoy the quiet surroundings.
Nice park just close to arsenal stadium. Nice walk surrounded by nature. A place to relax and enjoy nature.
