Interesting and good place. BBQ is welcome. Weekends would be very busy and smelly. If you don’t like l don’t advice. I like coffee. There is not much fresh drink options. But balcony and garden is peaceful. The topography a bit challenging. However it is a great option for London.
It’s a lovely spot to enjoy a gentle breeze and unwind. I visited on a bank holiday, and the park was lively with families enjoying the day, children playing, and picnics scattered across the green. It's a perfect place for a relaxing outing in a vibrant atmosphere.
Beautiful park with meandering paths up and down the hills. Plenty of benches to sit on one dedicated to George Michael is apparently a historic landmark. Lauderdale House hosts a nice cafe with plenty of options, including gluten-free brownies and lactose free milk alternatives. If you’re on your way to Highgate Cemetery to see Marx’s tomb then this is a great starting point or diversion.
Genuinely breathtaking park situated in the heart of North London. I went on a beautiful spring morning whilst going to the Highgate Cemetery, and I just let myself soak in the beauty - the sights and the sounds. The willow trees planted there are particularly picturesque, and the middle and lower ponds are extremely pleasant.
Nice park with lots of areas to touch grass. Nice sized adventure park for varied abilities. Nice splash lido for the children open in the summer from 10am-5pm 7 days a week. Lifeguards on site and toilets. Ice-cream truck too. Great place to spend on summers day. Playground: Old but good condition space.
I love this place very peaceful & relaxing & beautiful. Pathways tarmac but grass areas muddy except in spring/summer like all parks unfortunately, your shoes will get muddy if you go off the paths. Toilets in Lauderdale House & also in another building, get to £10 entry Highgate Cemetery through here.
Waterlow Park in London is a delightful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. This hidden gem offers it all: a charming café for tasty treats, tennis courts for sporty fun, and views that will take your breath away. The atmosphere is pure bliss, like stepping into a serene oasis. Don't miss out on this tranquil haven in the heart of the city! Playground: safe. Restrooms: clean. Dog-friendliness: with watwrbowls by cafe Picnic area: and bbq's allowed.
Beautiful park with ponds and children’s play area. The best part is you can do barbecue here! Perfect place to gather and enjoy barbecue!
Great park right next to Highgate cemetery. Lots of friendly, well-behaved dogs. I enjoyed it more than Hampstead Heath. There is also a great pub opposite the entrance.
Nice and peaceful. Beautiful views, lots of amenities, spacious and relaxing. A lovely spot in Highgate area for a walk or picnic or even parties, plus there is a sense of community by locals. Love the Lauderdale House and the tennis courts too!
