Do not expect much as rooms are really expensive but small even you are paying a lot per night. We are forced to pay for two rooms as they will not allow our 8 years old to stay in a room with max of 4 adult occupancy. It’s the fire hazard regulations apparently which we totally understand as the rooms are really cramp and tiny. Breakfast are really simple and the same everyday. The female staff from the reception and lunch room are friendly and hospitable which is really hard to get from their male staff. The guy at the lunch room is the only male staff that we catch a glimpse of friendliness and smile. The rooms are cleaned everyday which is a plus
The hotel is a very charming place. The breakfast is free which is very convenient. The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is very convenient. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and is a walkway distance to Victoria Station. Nearby, there is a supermarket and an Italian restaurant.Rooms: 4/5
The room was fine, the position was good although I would recommend different areas in London but the service was the WORST. I had a food poisoning and I needed help. They looked at me saying they didn’t known what to do. A glass of water would have been enough, thanks anyway. On the other hand, the guys at the bar The Latte Spot were very kind and helped me through.
Nice, clean hotel, friendly, helpful staff and housekeeping. Nice and warm, not too noisy. Very handy with bus stop right outside and short walk to Pimlico, with some very good restaurants within 5 mins walk and local convenience stores too! Continental breakfast a bit limited, but nice it have option of.Rooms: 4/5
We went to the apartment hotel SW1 on Lupus Street. The room was spacious, windows towards the inner courtyard/people's houses so it was semi quiet, if you don't count the fact that you could hear almost everything going on in the hallway and some of the going ons of the neighbour's room. There's a gap below the door from which you could just see the hallway. Some of the dishes in the kitchenette were not as clean as one would hope them to be and had to be rewashed before use, but otherwise the room was clean. The sink had white duct tape on it for some reason... The stairway's railings did have some staining. My biggest complaint would be the bed: we could not find a lock mechanic, and so the bed kept moving because of the wheels it had! Very bizarre. The location if you don't count the lack of elevator which was stated clearly was great, however! Nice, quiet neighbourhood and good public transport connections to most places, like a little over an hour to reach Heathrow. The app key was convenient, but sometimes we had to log in again.
Here’s the most important aspects for me in a hotel: Location, price, cleanliness and comfort. This hotel has it all. It is located in a very quiet area but close to some main attractions. The rooms are small can’t expect something different in London but very clean. Our room even have a view. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy and the staff very friendly. We stayed in the third floor and there’s no elevators but it was ok. In general I like the hotel and I know you like it too.
Nice hotel for our 3-night stay in London. Walked from the metro to the hotel and to the free museums. Other public transport is easy to use with a bus stop outside. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Room was tidy, but a little small.
Overall, it’s a nice mediocre stay if you plan on being out and about all day and only use the hotel for sleeping. Pros: in safe part of city, staff generally friendly, safe building, rooms cleaned well, continental breakfast every day. Cons: staff won’t help you with luggage even if you are traveling alone and struggling with getting suitcases downstairs, also have to go downstairs if you need extra towels, soaps, etc. they won’t come to you, no elevators; walk up type building, little rundown and musty. Safety: Relatively safe. Building is secure. Have to use your room key to enter and there’s always people at the front desk. Walkability: Bus stop right outside hotel, decent walking distance to mass transit and nice restaurants and main attractions in Westminster.
This was a fine hotel for my family, but not necessarily me. I am a bit tall for my for my gender, so I have special needs. I am "big-boned", so I eat more than the average person. So, I was moody most of my stay. If the rooms and the halls were wider, I would have felt happier. Regardless, this was an okay stay for me. Rooms: The room is a bit small for me.
Really nice hotel with quite modern rooms compared to those around it. Bathroom had an excellent shower. The staff were pleasant and there was even a bar, which again is rare locally, handy for a relaxing drink after a hard day.Rooms: 5/5
