The staff is rude and not heplful.helpful. Customer service doesn't exist at this hotel!Rooms: 2/5
Spacious room for 3 on ground floor of annex. A couple of things in the bathroom needed attention but nothing significant. Slightly annoying early risers letting the front door bang shut from 7 in the morning. Primarily chosen for the great location, near to London Victoria Station. Friendly staff, no problem with holding our baggage on day of departure. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. Love from Ireland.
The cost is very low, so my expectations were not too high to begin with. That said, the room, while small is all you will need for a short stay in London. Nothing fancy, but all the essentials in place. And the breakfast provided by the hotel is worth the extra money. Especially if you are looking for a full English breakfast. The staff are friendly and the facility is well kept.
My first comment is directed at the other travelers - be considerate of those around you. It's not necessary to slam doors or stomp up the stairs. Otherwise, those complaining about small rooms and no lift - you're in London where most buildings are older so just embrace the infrastructure. I had a great stay - front desk was lovely and my room was well cleaned. Great location near Victoria station and lots of food options! Budget friendly hotel. Appreciated the coffee, tea and kettle in the room and also the luggage storage both before and after check out. No complaints and would absolutely return!
I stayed here for two weeks. I had a suite which included bed-sit and full kitchen, very nice bathroom. I became very ill the second week. The management got a doctor to visit me, including prescriptions. I was in bed for the full second week. The porter and the cleaner were both so kind to me, under direction of the management - they brought me food and made me cups of tea. They stopped in two or three times a day. I cannot praise this hotel too highly. It was wonderful.
The hotel is located not too far from Victoria station, a practical stop if you have business around the area. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and neat. The only problem was the bed position in single rooms near a window which dissipated all the heat from the central system and made sleeping impossible without a cover. The bathroom was also pretty cold since there wasn't any heating system in it. Wifi was available for free throughout the hotel but the rooms towards the street lacked signal and it was impossible to use unless you sat in the stair case. Breakfast was included in the room price.
Clean, clean, clean. Comfortable APPF apartment with a bedroom king size bed and a sofa, full kitchen and relent bathroom. The breakfast was also great. This hotel was life saver. I had a booking on the one next to this hotel and the misery made me look for options. Thanks to the friendly staff on reception we found a place.
This place was very well furnished. Breakfast was great but goes cold very quick. Rooms are perfect size with air conditioning and central heating. Only negative though is when others above flush the toilet, shower, sink etc. you can hear it through the floor.
Reasonable price for staying near the city center in London. The rooms are small but OK if you only plan to stay in London for a few days. We could walk from The hotel to see the Thames, the Big Ben and the London Eye. The place where the breakfast is served is also quite small, but ok. The staff is friendly and helpful, hence the four star.
We turned up without booking after having walked out of our last hotel see review for Golden Star Hotel, considering we walked in off the street, the staff were accommodating, friendly, polite and very well dressed. They were aware of our prior issues and they did everything possible to put our minds at ease, they took us to our room, allowed us to inspect fully and once we were happy we went back to make the payment. The room was large, with a desk, wardrobe, full en-suite great shower, larger than standard double bed with comfortable mattress, furnishings were clean and facilities were good, with a hair drier and tea/coffee making equipment I highly recommend the oat biscuits. They allow good time for check out 11 am and check out was as easy as being asked how our night was and handing back the key card. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is close to Victoria station and a whole street of restaurants is within a 5 minute walk Wilton Road. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to London.
