Shocking garage. Rude service and never reply to calls. Guess selling Skodas means they find anyone to do this job without manners or experience. Proper Disney set up. The head is nowhere to be found I wrote an email to them which simply gets ignored as the address given by whichever minor deals with complaints is a dud look at the snapshot of reply I got. (Can't attach it) If that's how they treat you prior to purchase imagine how they will be after. A friend told me he got sworn at by sales guys

After 2 and a half years of trouble free motoring (from new) our Skoda Roomster started having issues. We had a noise at low speed steering. Sandicliffe diagnosed gear box bearings, In it went to be fixed and on return the noise was still present and obvious. After another trip in for a new diagnosis, in it goes again, this time for track rod ends. Noise fixed great! oh hang on. It was recalled to have the correct bolts put on the gear box bearings fix. Then the seat belt stopped working. My wife and kids stuck at the supermarket. Skoda UK to their credit brought us a hire car, to keep us mobile. I asked Sandicliffe how I would get the Skoda car to them without the drivers seat belt working. The reply was "it's up to you to get it to us" So cable ties, luck and a 24 mile drive in I took it in. It was fixed which was good with no issues, however when ringing Sandicliffe during this episode we were given a business number to contact them, we had a £15 mobile phone bill! Thanks very much! When challenging Sandicliffe, they said I need to take it up with my phone service provider.....Why should I be charged at all? The biggest issue was that when the car went for its first MOT it was found that there was play in the steering. The locking nuts had not been tightened when the track rod ends had been fixed. I raised this with Sandicliffe and they said that they would have to have seen the issue at the time. Without proof that they would take no further actions.This was a safety concern and I feel fobbed off. Not good at all. The last issue was the stereo randomly losing FM transmission. Sandicliffe could not find an issue on 2 occasions. I was told they couldn't fix the stereo problem if they hadn't witnessed it. In the end and independently, it was found it was when plugging an item into the 12v socket it was interfering with the signal. We have done over 450 miles in and out of the dealer, all of which were warranty fixes. Now that is not Sandicliffes fault but Skoda UK's for producing a unreliable car. I asked Skoda UK for a contribution to our costs......"We don't do that" was the reply. My gripe is that at times the staff were unsympathetic and unwilling to see problems through and not doing work correctly. I am now selling the Skoda and going back to a Japanese make again. I wouldn't recommend Skoda to anyone.

A shockingly rude and unprofessional company. I called to purchase 3 new cars and firstly a salesman said he will call me back as he could not see the cars they themselves were advertising. Never phoned back. Finally spoke to a business manager who said he will call back and at the end of the day I got a call from a rude and shocking 'car salesmen' who thought it is ok to be rude and sarcastic. When I asked what happened to the business manager he told that he was to busy to call and that he had gone home and left this clown to deal with my enquiry. I as any normal person asked for the best deal and he was so rude I could not believe what I was hearing. He also lied about the saving which I worked out as £4,400 instead of the £6,000 he told me. The Skoda brand has moved on but sadly this garage needs better staff. No details can be found of the top honcho on the website either. 3 cars deal lost. Shame on you guys.
